38 weeks ; possible induction??

Hi FTM here! Haven't had much problems at all through this pregnancy. Have always swelled, but doc was never concerned. Today he said my bp was elevated (146/84) and if I don't get it down within the week he will induce next week. I'll be 38 weeks. Anyone else induced at 38w? Just wanting baby to be happy&healthy!

    I'm 38+3 and will be induced by 39 weeks for high blood pressure as well. I'm sure your baby will be just fine! :) it's better for them to be born a little early in cases like this because elevated BP can develop into pre-e very quickly and high BP isn't healthy for you or your baby. I hope it goes well for you!

    Waiting to see what my doctor says on Thursday.  I've had slightly elevated BP for 2 weeks now.  Hoping it's not too high and I'm able to carry our baby until she's ready to come out.

    I'm starting the induction process Friday night at 38 weeks due to high blood pressure. So excited and nervous. Wish I could go into labor on my own, but I know it's best to get baby out now before it has a chance to turn into preeclampsia or develope other complications.

    I am checking in Monday the 28th to start the induction process and I will be just over 38 weeks as well :)
