taco Tuesday

So I made the besttttttt tacos last night and thought I'd share with you guys! I cooked shrimp in a pan with butter and minced garlic (super easy & it was a 5 dollar bag of shrimp from Walmart already peeled & cleaned!) I just mixed some sour cream and juice of lime for a "sauce" and added tomato, avocado, and some shredded cheddar cheese on a small soft tortilla! I swear they are the easiest and best tacos I ever made!! what's some of your favorite taco recipes?!

  • =P~ yum, I'm going to try making this .  Thanks for sharing.
  • Yum!!! Definitely going to be trying this! :) thanks for sharing!
  • Making chicken tacos tonight!!! Just ground chicken browned on the stove add a little low sodium taco seasoning and add it to the tortillas! Takes about 10 mins, love it! Plus it's a good alternative if your trying not to over do it on the red meat.
  • I love to add chicken breast [thawed or frozen] into the crock pot with a jar of salsa [salsa Verde is AMAZING]. Just cook on low for 6-8 hrs or high for 4-6hrs then shred! We like to top it off with cheese, and lettuce in a tortilla. OR it makes an AMAZING taco salad!

@eheba that sounds so good. i love any kind of tacos but fish tacos are one of my favorites. one easy way to make them: you can either pan fry the fish in a mixture of old bay and chili powder seasoning, or, even easier: buy frozen beer battered fish filets, use that as the filling but make a spicy sour cream topping with sour cream, cilantro, and a minced chipotle pepper, and top with guacamole and cole slaw or lettuce. omg so good.

my hubs and i are supposed to be going out for italian tonight because it's our anniversary but now i want mexican!!!
  • Our favorites are blackened salmon tacos with avocado corn salsa and cilantro cream sauce.
