Weeks/Fruit: 7 weeks/blueberry
Symptoms: nausea, exhaustion
Appointments: I have my first appointment and ultrasound on Thursday. I'll only be 7 weeks 2 days but I'm so excited.
Rants/Raves: DH still doesn't understand how tired I am and that I can't control it. This is my second pregnancy so I really am just annoyed. With everything else he's so great but this.
GTKY: Family: Do you come from a big or small family? Are they close? How many children do you plan on having?
My mother family is terrible (I mean really awful terrible criminals and just..I can't even. My mom got out and made a life for herself despite them) and my father passed away along with all of his side of the family. I only have my mom and brother, who are both an hour away. Because of this, I've seriously been considering having a bigger family. I thought I wanted 2 but now that I'm pregnant with #2, three seems like it could be a possibility.
Weeks/Fruit: 8/raspberry
Symptoms: exhaustion, sinus issues, nauseated, sore boobs, spotting, food aversions... The works!
Appointments: Unexpected ultrasounds last Thursday due to spotting/cramping. Saw baby and heartbeat. It was such a relief! Next appointment is next Thursday and will be my first "official" OB appointment.
Rants/Raves: DD is just starting to enter the tantrum phase. This morning I found myself wondering what I was thinking to want to have another!
GTKY: Family: Do you come from a big or small family? Are they close? How many children do you plan on having? H and I both come from small families, but our parents had big families. We're not that close because many of them are far away

Symptoms: Random hot flashes, heartburn, random nausea, sore boobs
Appointments: Just had an appt last Thursday- next one in 4 weeks
Rants/Raves: We are having twins!
GTKY: Family: Do you come from a big or small family? Are they close? How many children do you plan on having? I only have one sibling- a brother but my extended family is huge! We used to be closer when we were little but as we have all gotten older we don't see each other as much. After the twins this will make 4 children for us! And we will be done having babies. Sad but I think 4 is good!! I always dreamed of 3 but we were surprised with twins! Looking forward to the adventure!
Symptoms: Had a little bit of nausea this morning while brushing my teeth but that's about it.
Appointments: Blood work and dentist this week.
Rants/Raves: My husband has had a cold for a week so I'm left solo parenting. I wonder what this is going to be like with 2...
GTKY: Family: Do you come from a big or small family? Are they close? How many children do you plan on having? I'm an only child so super small family. We're really close especially since my dad died a few years ago. My mom is my best friend. I only plan on having two - this is my last.
Symptoms: Nausea, exhaustion, food aversion
Appointments: Oct 1 for dating US
Rants/Raves: Just wish I wasn't so tired and lazy in the evenings.
GTKY: Family: Do you come from a big or small family? Are they close? How many children do you plan on having? I have one sister. I'll probably only have 2 children (have a 2 year old DD already), it's just so expensive to have kids these days.
Symptoms: hangover type nausea, lower appetite, very thirsty, sore/larger boobs, some nipple discomfort breastfeeding, some irritability
Appointments: I had a 6 week ultrasound (saw baby and heartbeat) and go this Monday for an (almost)8 week checkup.
Rants/Raves: DS is both super sweet and a hansdful. He has been great when I get upset and basically calms me down the way I calm him: with hugs, kisses, and back pats. DH was being very helpful last week and is less so this week. My students are getting on my nerves; I'm going to have to hold in my disgust if one more kid asks if he/she can just read the spark notes instead of reading Macbeth bease it would be quicker. We break everything down in class. Don't be lazy; let your brain grow through reading and struggling with a difficult text.

Small family (3 kids) but large, Italian extended family with loads of cousins. My grandparents on my mom's side were each one of seven. We're really close and have awesome holiday get togethers. One of my cousins and her husband is our best-friend couple-- and they're due with their first this March. : )
We'll probably aim for just two, maybe three children if it turns out we can reasonably afford a larger place. It will also depend on how this pregnancy and recovery goes since I may need a RCS.
