What is this feeling in my stomach?

I am going to describe the feeling the best I can lol!

Lately I've been getting these tight feelings in my stomach. Its like a quick tight feeling and it doesn't hurt, it just surprises me and scares me lol. When I'm laying down and I get ready to sit up. Its like a tight..."pump" feeling. Idk if I should have used the work pump but it's a quick tight feeling in thr stomach. I am 17 weeks by the way, thank you for your help!

    I'm 26 weeks and I experience this and I assume it's the combination of my skin stretching and possibly Braxton Hicks. This is my guess but I don't for sure.

    Round ligament pain maybe??... I'm not sure. I have RLP starting 2 weeks ago, but only when I am sleeping and go to switch positions, or when I stand up too fast. I wouldn't say it's painful, but it just surprises me when it happens and almost takes my breath away! lol

    Probably RLP. Lots of stretching going on in there in such a short amount of time.

    I get that feeling of pulling sometimes when I change positions in bed or on the couch. It last like 30 seconds but it is uncomfortable for those 30 seconds. I think it is your body stretching which it hasn't done before if you are FTM, which I am.

    For me, the Braxton hicks feel like a bowling ball was dropped in my uterus suddenly, or like my son is stretching me out from the inside all along the bottom of my uterus. I spoke with my OB and she also said it can be an isolated area as well, for me, I have it mostly on my right, it almost feels as if my son's head is pushing out for a certain amount of time, but it is a Braxton hick.
