I got a really comfy one from Target. I wanted one that wasn't too cutesy, so I got a waffle weave gray one. It is perfect for me and very soft. I wanted something that wouldn't show stains very well and that would wash easily. I got a size or two bigger so it fits my belly now and will be comfy for lost csection.
I ended up with the jersey style robe from target too! It was inexpensive compared to motherhood or anything else I saw at the mall. I fear everything I bring to the hospital will get ruined so I opted for black.
I got one at TJ Maxx but I'm having trouble finding a nightgown...do you really need a nightgown or can you just wear comfy pajamas at the hospital? FTM here!

Other moms have told me hospital gowns are better anyway, because pretty much anything you wear for a few days after will get very soiled and gross.
I bought this one- less than $20 and really soft and comfy! It arrived within a week. My hospital said to only bring clothes that you are willing to "sacrifice to the cause" haha, so I didn't want to break the bank.
I ended up buying one from pink blush maternity. It was $25 on sale which was a little more than I wanted to spend but I liked it enough to spend that.
@rikki5, if you end up having to have a c-section, a gown is nice to have since it won't get in the way of your incision. But in the hospital, you can just wear theirs.
At home, wear whatever you're most comfortable in. A robe is nice to have to throw on over your pajamas and tanks and still give you nursing access.
Got a steal for a real nice and soft and thick robe at jockey factory outlet store for 19.99...though not much choice with the color, just white and blue ...but i just cared for the quality and price
I got my robe and a couple dresses that I am going to use as night gowns in the hospital from goodwill... think I spent less than 10 on everything and if something happens to it or it gets dirty I have no problem with throwing it away :-)
Re: Best place to buy a cute comfy hospital robe?
