Why even bother responding with your negative opinion? Next time keep it to yourself. If you don't like internet strangers I suggest you get off the internet and this community. It's really as simple as that. Bye Felicia!

I don't think you understand how the internet and this community work. I can comment any way I see fit, as long as it doesn't violate the TOU. You aren't going to change the tone of this board.
If you had lurker before jumping in, you would know that Ramzi threads aren't well received.
There is a very long thread devoted to ultrasounds and several *accidental* ultrasound threads. You were just told very politely that your ultrasound doesn't warrant its own thread, there is no reason to attack the person who made you aware of this. Lurk before you post or it will get MUCH more rude very quickly, especially when you respond so defensively. Also, we are all having ultrasounds. Some of us just don't feel like shoving photos in the faces of strangers. Congratulations on a healthy pregnancy, I hope it continues to progress normally. If you can't handle opinions that aren't exactly in line with yours, perhaps the Internet is not the place for you. Bye, Felicia! Edit: words are hard
Yikes. If you'd been here for a day, you'd realize the ramazi method is unpopular. So A) you knew and asked anyway, hoping to cause drama or b) you didn't bother to read the pinned posts and jumped right in. Congratulations on the pregnancy, but nobody but a doctor can tell you whether that's a boy or girl. Spring for the panorama test if you're dying to know now.
Don't even know why anyone would be rude on a board where people are excited to share news, experiences and questions. Obviously some of you have issues and your hormones are getting the better Of you. I wasn't being offensive or rude when I opened the discussion. I'm part of many pregnancy boards and it's not a strange thing to have some fun guessing genders from US. It's not shoving anything in anyone's face. I'm so confused by this vile reaction.
Why would I cause drama over a baby's gender? Sorry I didn't go read hours worth of posts before posting an innocent question. Geez no womanly support here. I will find out the gender in a couple of weeks, again it was just an innocent question just for fun to see who agrees with me versus my husband. Seriously you guys are way too serious.
It's very easy to make people mad here I have noticed. Scrolling down and reading the topic "bye bye ladies i obviously don't fit in here" might clear up some of your confusion about the reactions.
It's sad that a few negative nellys try to scare new members away for no reason. I wasn't being rude until Someone was rude to me. I just saw that post and it's hard to see grown woman bully each other especially in the state most of us are in. The other boards I'm on the ladies are friendly and supportive. I don't understand why if I broke some sort of rule it couldn't have been said to me In a nicer manner versus a snarky rude way.
Yes you can respond it just makes you pathetic for commenting on something negatively. It's like watching a show you don't enjoy then complaining about it. Guess what? Then stop watching. Obviously negative nelly a like you with a chip on their shoulder makes up the tone of this board. Get a life.
No snark intended but you are obviously new and I am guessing since you didn't lurk first, which is highly recommended, you also didn't read the guidelines for the board. Now put yourself in some of the ladies shoes who have been here for over 8 weeks and have seen the same question asked over and over again. I really appreciate the sticky boards and community threads with us photos.
Honestly, especially with the 8 week us, I have a hard time even telling what is in there let alone deciding what the sex is. The chances of guessing are 50/50.

I'm so afraid lol still stand by my original statement. You bully me I won't stand for it, I will defend myself.

Again, thats not the way it works. You don't get to defend yourself to the BumpGods. Either you violated the TOU or you didn't. Its pretty simple. (FYI, name calling is against the TOU)

Thank you for responding politely I appreciate it. Obviously some ladies (I use the term loosely) didn't learn manners growing up. I've been on boards before and you do sometimes see the same questions over and over but I would just ignore them versus responding negatively. Again I appreciate your insight and thanks for doing it in a civilized manner.
It's starting to look that way. I try to be nice just incase but after being kindly "notified" if the op continues to blast other bumpies I give the side eye.
Just a brand new member here not a lurker or an alter ego. Didn't realize posting an US is made up drama. The ladies on some of my other boards do this US gender guessing all the time for fun so I just wanted to try it here. No alter ego or drama other than what was created by the older members who obviously don't like newbies.
Actually, you do sound like an AE given your responses.
If you are a member of other boards then you know to lurk first - so by posting this, you either didn't lurk (unlikely given your posts' wording) or you started this for the drama (most likely).
If you are a member of other boards, you should agree that a response differing in opinion than yours DOES NOT mean it's negative, rude, or mean yet you jumped all over that bandwagon pretty darn quickly. (ETA: especially after the initial responses were informative/ no snark) So yes, this sounds like MUD/ AE.
