So with my first pregnancy, I was super sick and if I remember correctly, I pretty much just ate weird stuff from the hot bar at Whole Foods (4 blocks from the house we lived in at that time) for dinner basically 5 nights a week. Now the sickness is setting in again, my son is 2, and my husband doesn't get home from work til after the kid is asleep. I typically meal plan out a week in advance, grocery shop 1-2x a week, and now I'm finding it nearly impossible to stick to the meal plan because nothing ever sounds good.
Anyone else feeling this way? I also feel super guilty when I cook a healthy meal for the kid and then sit there and either a) eat nothing, or b) eat toast, because then of course he wants toast too. We have always eaten the same meal, together, and I feel like that's part of why he's a really adventurous eater- now am I gonna ruin two years of hard work with 9 months of shitty pregnancy eating? What are other moms with kids at home doing?
