Baby Breeza. Yes or No?

I do realize it is not a necessity. Still, I am all for something that could make life a bit easier. There are a lot of mixed reviews on this product. Is the price worth it? Thoughts welcome.

Re: Baby Breeza. Yes or No?

  • Which baby brezza? I have the sterilizer/dryer for bottles and things and I absolutely love it. I know people with the baby brezza formula machine and they love it! If I did more formula, I'd absolutely get one

  • Yes, thank you. I didn't specify. The formula Pro.
  • If you're formula feeding and you can afford the splurge, then hell ya get it!! Baby is gonna be on bottles for quite some time so it's not like it's a product you're only gonna use for weeks.
  • I was telling DH just last night that if breastfeeding hadn't worked out we'd totally be buying a formula machine.
  • I have the Baby Brezza formula pro and absolutely love it! Bottles are ready in just like 5 seconds--totally cuts down the the crying wait time

  • I've seen a lot of reviews that it grows mold really easily and fast and that it doesn't always mix the right amount of powder in. So what is the point of having something for convenience that must be thoroughly cleaned all the time and that you can't trust is giving your baby all the nutrients it needs? I have heard of some babies getting water intoxication from not enough powder getting mixed in for just a day. Doesn't seem worth it to me.
  • Anything baby brezza is wonderful IMHO. Yes it's a splurge and you "don't need it" but if it makes life simpler , why not? I think I saw walmart have the cheapest price on line at 159.00 (for the formula ).
When Leyla starts to eat, I'm going to get the baby brezza food maker. If we do more formula, Ill get the formula maker.
  • Worth every penny! Never had any issues with it. Super convenient to have a perfectly warmed bottle in seconds!
  • We bought it and loved it the first few days. Then it started not dispensing the correct amount of formula... First way too little, resulting in practically waster filled bottles, then way too much resulting in practically milk shake consistent bottles. We returned it today. Not worth having a baby with a tummy ache for a little extra convenience.
  • No.

MIL bought it for us and we've never actually been able to use it for our LO. The machine would not dispense the correct amount of formula. I don't have peace of mind using it, so it wasn't worth it for us. I regret throwing the box away because we can't even return the darn thing. Btw, we use Enfamil newborn. Maybe other formulas work better...
  • Thank you all. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if it malfunctioned and DS got sick. It is worth the extra time to mix formula and warm it.
  • I don't know if you can get it in the states but we got a tomee tippee bottle maker. You out the bottle in the tray, press the button and it shoots a shot of steam into the bottle to sterilise it, then you measure and put the formula in yourself then press the button again. It then puts in the water at the perfect temperature and your ready to go. All in all about 30 seconds. We only use it occasionally when lo its cluster feeding and I can't keep up but we love it.
  • I know this is an older thread, but I returned my baby brezza. It just didn't mix correctly.
I bought the dr brown mixing pitcher and bottle warmer instead, much cheaper and extremely convenient.
I mix the formula for the next day every night, then just wash the pitcher with the bottles before we go to bed and start over again. It's a life saver. I highly recommend it. :)
