RESOLVE/Support Groups?

Hi All!  DH and I are taking a small break from treatments (due to a variety of reasons) and I was wondering if anyone has ever attended a RESOLVE meeting or any other type of in person support group?  The board here is very helpful, but sometimes I think it's nice to see other people face-to-face, and as we all know, if you have never had to deal with IF, it's hard to really understand what someone else is going through.  I feel like my only person IRL to talk to about this is DH, and I'm starting to feel like it's dominating the conversation, and I really want our relationship to be about more than our struggles with IF.

    I haven't been to one but my REs office has support groups a couple of times a month. I've thought about going, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

    Me: 31

    DH: 29, SA - Great

    Married: June 12,2011

    TTC #1: 1/2014

    Diagnosis: Hypothalamic Amenorrhea

    Treatment: Clomid:  50mg, 100mg, 150mg - not successful and not monitored

                      Menopur 75ml (upped to 112.5ml), Ovidrel, & IUI  IUI #1 8/31/2015

    9/15/2015: BFP HCG - 400, 9/17/2015: HCG - 827, 9/21/2015 - HCG 3,327!
    Heartbeat 10/2/2015: 118bpm
    DS: 5/27/2016

    TTC# 2: 12/2017
    BFP: 4/20/2018
    EDD: 12/29/2018

    I went to a Resolve meeting. It was great. I don't know why I have not gone back. I keep coming up with excuses to give myself. It is helpful to know it is there for support. It was a very emotional experience. It was the most supported I have felt. My husband did not go with me but I did tell him about it and let him know he could go if he wanted. I too feel like infertility and babies dominates my thoughts and conversations. Good luck to you.

    I went to my first one not long ago. I definitely found it helpful! I even met a couple of people with similar issues. One girl in the group I talk to regularly now because we started stims in the same day.
