    Cycle Status: CD11. Monitored this morning, and follies are still really small. Ovidrel has been ordered and should arrive tomorrow. More monitoring this week... waiting, waiting, waiting... ::sigh::

    @ellebelle2384-- exciting!!!  FX for you!!!
    @frenchteachermama-- great news!  I hope you get to kick off the adoption process soon!

    My cycle status:  I am waiting for results from the genetic testing of my one and only frostie.  If the results are good (knock wood!!!!  please!  hopefully!) then we will do a FET on my next cycle.  I was given the option to start BCP because I got my period this past Friday, but I didn't want to jinx it by prepping for a FET when I don't know the test results... I am not sure if I made the right decision, but I didn't want to prep my body when I am unsure of the results... I think I am trying to guard my own feelings as much as possible.

    @ellebelle2384 I am following right behind you. :-)  I have another ultrasound and blood test tomorrow. If all goes well, my FET will be next Monday. I also will be transferring just 1 frosty.

    Good luck everyone..

    My cycle status is as of CD 9 my follicles were still small so dr was thinking I'm not responding.  The dr I saw told me to take two more shots sunday and monday night and come back Tuesday..then my dr called me yesterday and said to give it one more day and come in wednesday and see where we are there..she is thinking I am just a few days behind where I usually am so I am holding out hope this cycle won't be a complete bust.

    @ellebelle2384  Yes! My nurse just called and said everything looked good. My RE is happy where I am at and we are scheduled for the FET Monday.  I start the endometrin and progesterone tomorrow. Got to love butt shots.

    Well this cycle is a bust..still no response and no follies growing.  So we are canceling this cycle and have to decide how to proceed.  The dr wants us to do provera to get a period and then clomid probably with injectables but i'm hesitant because the one time I was on clomid I didn't ovulate at all, no follicles grew and I got a cyst.  We could take a break and try some supplements to help with my AMH and AFC or we could potentially move to IVF but that would really depend on a day 3 ultrasound and my follicle count to see if it is worth it.  

    I just don't know what to do..I am kind of ready to give up on meds and just try naturally..I am just about 33 and I had a healthy easy pregnancy at 29..I truly believe I am not out of good healthy eggs yet so it may take a while but I do think it will but then again..who knows..

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

    @jodee37 are you just trying naturally now?? Sorry I am new here..I also noticed you have low AMH and AFC just like me..Do you know what your FSH is?  We are kind of stuck and trying to figure out what our best next step is.

    @rachlee2010 yes, we honestly have no financial means to do invasive treatments, and from our experience, have no confidence they will ever work.  i am starting to entertain adoption, though not sure my husband is at that point yet since we just turned 35.

    I have also thought about adoption and donor eggs but am not so sure how I feel about either..if I didn't have my son I wouldn't think twice about it.  Our insurance covers IUI and IVF procedures but not the meds.  We just did two IUI cycles each on femara and one on gonal f and the other on menopur, had one great follicle both times and BFN's.  Then we went back to the femara and gonal F this cycle but I am not responding at all and no follicles are growing.  The dr suggested we try clomid (but the one month I tried it I did't ovulate at all and got a cyst) but she thinks it is worth another shot..The other option is to take a few months of and take DHEA to possibly help AMH and AFC go up.  Or if on a day 3 we see a fair amount of follicles to try IVF (but my husband is very hesitant to spend $7000 give or take on meds that I may not respond to at all)  I am so torn with what to do..I have heard of DOR ladies who went through lots of treatments and never responded or did but never got  a BFP to then go on and get pregnant naturally..Sometimes I wonder if I would have better luck just trying on our own.

    @Blinkalish - it went as smoothly as possible! We transferred one embryo so hopefully it's snuggling in now. I decided not to POAS and go in for blood work next Friday so we'll see then. Hope everything is set for you for Monday!
