Preeclampsia

Im not yet in my second trimester but this is baby #3 for me. Did any of you mommies suffer from preeclampsia? I'm really scared and worried about it. I had a touch of it after my 2nd baby... What did the dr do for yall? Did yall recover from it?

    I had pre e with Ds. Started as pregnancy induced hypertension at 32 weeks, I was put on bed rest and had an emergency induction at 36 weeks for severe pre e. I had to be on magnesium for 24 hours after ds was born, and he spent a few extra days in the hospital for some late term preemie issues (mostly jaundice). He did well and my pre e went away within 24 hours of his birth. My doctor says since it was severe I have a good chance of having it again. I am also really worried about it.

    Yes ma'am I had it with both of my sons. The first pregnancy it started at 32 weeks and got so bad literally overnight it became an emergency c-section so he was born at 32 weeks but fine. Second pregnancy everything was great no preclampsia until bam! It literally came back at 36 weeks and so I had a CS scheduled the very next week at 37 weeks, again DS was fine. Doc says since it has happened both times before he's 99% sure it will come back again this pregnancy so we are having a repeat CS when it gets closer to DD. This will be my last baby since my body has such a hard time with preclampsia everytime. Its scary and upsetting and the symptoms are no fun but i've been through it twice so if you have any questions or anything don't hesitate to ask :)
