My mom is taking him tonight so I can finally sleep. I've been non stop breaking down. My dh works m-f from 3:30pm till 12am. So he says he can finally take on night feedings from now on.
Im so sorry youre struggling right now. Care.com is a good place to start like PP said..you can have background check and references for each person you look into. Praying for you to get past this and get well.
Thanks ladies. This was a planned and very wanted baby. Now ppd makes me feel like I want nothing to do with him. I hate getting up out of bed to feed him and care for him. This is raw ladies ppd is no joke. Its worse this time around. With my dd It was hard but I did it. Now, I'm throwing in the towel. I'm done.
I hope you're able to find the help you need. I'll be thinking of you, babies are hard without ppd, I can't even imagine. Good luck getting through this difficult time.
Sending thoughts your way @Baby2HG ... Sorry to hear you are struggling the second time around. That was a huge fear of mine too. I truly hope you can find some good help - you will definitely feel like a new person with some sleep, and a backup person to help you, and you'll be able to reestablish your relationship with your baby again. Good luck and stay in touch with us
Hang in there. I too am dealing/have dealt with some pretty awful PPD (8 weeks post partum now). It WILL get better. Sleep helps. You're already being a WONDERFUL mom by reaching out for help.
Big hugs! Continue to ask for help and support. You will get past this and you are doing exactly what you should be to take care of yourself. It's important to know your limits. I'm thinking about you!
Re: Night nurse, nanny
I found mine through referrals. Do you not have family help?
