My "angel" who is "sleeping" comfortably in my arms. Seems she likes to wake up as soon as she gets back to her crib and my head touches my pillow again
Every single time!! Last night, after 2 Nights of this, DH had to take over . I was about to fall out sitting at the dinner table.. At a restaurant in downtown south side Tallahassee by FSU. Lmao. I wasn't kidding when I said I was exhausted!' And when you have 2 kids, forget "sleeping when the baby sleeps" bullshit. They tag team you. When one falls asleep, the other wakes up. Lol
My lo just pooped right as I was about to change him. Should have taken that as a warning to wait a few mins. He farted and pooped a little as I was wiping him. Little did I know, he peed at the same time. As I'm laughing it off, he poops again and it projectile flies across the changing pad. I'm freaking out and dh comes to look. As I'm cleaning up the poop, again, lo decided to pee all over his face! Dh can't stop laughing! I'm screaming, "why!?!?!" Dh says he never does anything like this for him.
I thought I learned how to GIF. I downloaded and app and picked the best one out for you ladies. It didn't work.
In other news. My sweet baby has been a total dictator today and hasn't slept at all. I just got him to go to sleep. Wellllll I'm pretty sure he just pee'd out of his diaper and soaked both of us. He has been so crazy and over tired that I'm not getting up to change either of us right now. #motheroftheyear and #istink
Trying out gripe water for the first time tonight. We normally give her gas drops but thought we'd see how the gripe water worked, since she's been a little fussy the last few days. She's been awake since around 7 I think and at 9 she started screaming which she never does. It's currently 10:48 and Hubby and I have been taking turns trying to calm her, feed her, burp her, and give another dose of gripe water. Wondering if we should have stuck with the gas drops
@Crystal321 My LO has just recently started with the punching and pinching of the boob. I keep asking her "why are you doing that? You LOVE the boob!" I think it's super cute when she snuggles the side of her face into it after she finishes nursing. It almost makes up for waking me up half a dozen times in the middle of the night. Lol.
So tonigut after my DSs bath I had him on his changing table to get dressed. He peed on the towel I had him wrapped in so I made the mistake of thinking that I didn't have to cover him and could take a little time to put lotion on without a diaper being on. Wrong! The next thing I know he has a perfect arch of pee going through the air and directly into his top drawer of his table! Instead of shutting the drawer or covering him up, I just stood there and watched in amazement that this was actually happening! He's got great aim!
Why I'm I so hungry? Like ravenously. Even when pregnant, I think I only had 1 night where I was so hungry I got up. Now, I eat every night while/after I pump. I am full after dinner and then usually have a little bit of frozen yogurt (as to not upset LOs belly much) and then maybe a little something just before bed. But when I get up to pump. I just want to eat and no amount of water is helping!! I am NEVER going to lose my pregnancy weight (
And on that note, not cool @Boslove , not cool. I was already craving sugar cookies and you just made it 5x worse. There are sugar cookies I'm my future which means I will also have to make the brownies that DH has been asking for. Good thing its going to be chilly today and turning on my oven isnt a death wish.
We are up... not for a motnbut because l.o. cannot decide what he wants. Neither of us napped today because MIL was here and everytime he fell asleep she'd wake him up. My hubby is now in the process of calling her to wake her up as pay back. Babies that dont nap dont "sleep better at night" so the new parents are calling for more of her amazing parenting advice. :-) petty but i feel better
LO just spit up quite a bit. Ive never been happier to have her only get it on me and not her. If she had gotten that much on her she would have been going back to bed in her swaddle with just a diaper because no way am I putting clothes on her to make her scream in the MOTN unless I absolutely had to!
Edit: theres also milk all over the bathroom floor bc I leaked before LO woke up and took my tank off while I peed before grabbing her and looked down, oops a let down. Im not wiping this up tonight...ill swifer it in the morning!!
My girl had the crabbiest weekend. I'm not sure if it was just a bad few days or that she was hungry since my supply decided to practically cut in half. Ugh. But I was secretly a little happy she did it while DH was around so he could know what it's like when she has a bad day.
I'm in the bedroom with LO attached to my boob, throwing pens, tape and whatever else is within reach on my desk at DH who is snoring SO ANNOYINGLY LOUD on the couch in the living room. I haven't been able to hit him yet, but I'll keep trying til I do! If I have to be up every 2 hours, there's no way you get to be so asleep that you snore through 20 pens bouncing off the wall behind you...
Am I the only one that falls asleep while BFing? I literally can't keep my eyes open. I wake up with DS sleeping on my boob and phone in hand with a partially written response to a bump post. I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing!
@jlsweets Yeeeeah, me too. That's how we got in the habit of cosleeping because I would fall asleep during side laying feedings. Then I got kind of attached. I really didn't want to move her back to the Rock n Play but and then we did and she slept 4 hours, so I was like K BYE.
