Hey ladies! My hubby and I are considering the name Finn for our son. I recently met a little girl with the name and now I'm wondering if it's more a girl name then a boy name... Thoughts?

Hubby and I are thinking of Finn for our little boy too. I'm wondering if it might get a bit more popular soon though, as Hubby informs me that is the name of the main character/hero in the new Star Wars film. I'm not so keen on the films myself but I guess the little one might be as he grows up so he might quite like that connection. Even if his mamma doesn't!

I love Finn! I've only ever heard it on boys so far, but I have met a little girl Finley. (Though she goes by Finley, not Finn.) I think you'd find it's overwhelmingly a boy name with a few outlier girls.

I think boy, I think it's a shortened version of Finnegan/Finnigan/Phineas.

I like Finn as a nickname, but think he'd need a full name too for resumes and such.
