Workouts/cardio

i'm 25 weeks pregnant. And having low pressure in my belly when I walk on treadmill. No pain just pressure. Just wondering if and other FTM get this whole working out
Thanks

Re: Workouts/cardio

  • Not with the treadmill but yes on the bike and elliptical so I stopped doing those and am sticking with other types of cardio. I would ask your doctor.

  • This is me going up stairs. I have over 100 stair steps up to my classroom each time I go up. I just hold on and go slow. I don't think I would do it if I had a choice.
  • This happens to me. I started wearing a maternity belt and it helped relieve some of the pressure.
  • I would say anytime working out doesn't feel ok or right, stop and talk to your doctor.
  • I just talked to my doc about this last week at my apt. I get it while running. She told me to get a support band if it's too uncomfortable but that it poses no harm to baby.
  • I started getting pain and pressure when running on the treadmill and eventually even when just walking. After trying 3 separate times I switched to biking for a little while maybe a week and then finally yesterday I was able to jog pain free! I would say just do whatever is comfortable that day and take it easy when you need to :)
  • Sometimes when I'm at work, I work in a kitchen.

Yes, I do here. Walking on my incline trainer has been the majority of my workout. I walk at least 3 miles a day and afterwards I do have a little pressure in my pelvis area but it normally goes away. I've talked to my doctor about my workout routine and she has encouraged me to continue. I'm not a first time mom though, this is my 2nd pregnancy.

  • I have been getting this for a while now and recently the pressure has gotten worse.  I am going for my routine visit today and planned to ask about it, I am a FTM.
