TWW post (week of 9/14 - 9/20)

Hi everyone! This is a two week wait post for anyone who is in or soon will be in the TWW. Tell us your symptoms (no matter how crazy they may be!), how many DPO you are, and when/if you'll test. Good luck everyone!

I honestly don't know if I'm in the TWW but I'm going to post anyway...

I had a +OPK last Wed and FF originally gave me crosshairs for CD19. However, the coverline was ridiculously low because my post-O temps weren't that high. In fact, there were only 4 pre-O temps that were BELOW the coverline. WTH, right? So I experimented and discarded one of my post-O temps, which moved my O-day to CD20 and brought up my coverline. BUT I feel like I'm just messing with the data so that I can pretend I O'd and actually feel like I'm in a TWW...and to cling to some form of hope. It sounds so desperate, I know.

If I did in fact O, I'm 4-5 dpo. Having sore, tender, painful breasts but have had that for a few cycles now. It could be from the high-ish prolactin levels? Or maybe my body is actually producing progesterone? Who knows. My body is a mystery.

Hi ladies!

Well, I'm into my TWW and am deciding when to test. FF says I should test on September 20th. The thing is, that's my anniversary. If I get a BFP, then we have two things to celebrate, but if it's a no, well, kinda puts a damper on the day. The alternative is to test Monday, but to get a BFP and then go to work is no fun either!

I have a symptom question! I know symptoms can be hard to figure out, especially since "early pregnancy symptoms" are very similar to "premenstrual symptoms". I experience very little of the "early pregnancy symptoms" which obviously could mean that I'm not pregnant. However, I've also never really had any signs I was about to get my period. I rarely knew it was coming until it was here! When I was on the pill, the only thing I experienced was a very specific headache (right side of my forehead, between my eye and temple at the hairline, four days before my period, every month). Before the pill I got cramps during my period, but never before. So I guess my question is, since I don't often get physical signs before my period, should I really expect to get any if I'm pregnant? If anyone has any experience/insight I'd appreciate it!

The only odd thing that's happened that might be a symptom was phantom smells. I was at home the other night and I kept smelling fruit snacks (think fruit roll ups, or fruit gummies). We don't have them in the house, and it's been ages since I've had them, but I kept smelling the gummies.

Week two of the TWW here. I don't temp, so I'm going entirely on clear blue digital advanced opks. We BD on my first high fertility day and on my first peak fertility day and then DH got sick, so I'm hoping that covered it. As for symptoms, my LO Is doing the old wives' tale thing of bending over and looking through his legs, which is supposed to mean he is looking for his sibling. Today he did it while in my lap, and waved at my belly. I know I sound crazy, but it's hard not to hope it is significant.

I've also been feeling little pinches in my belly. Who knows.

I won't test until AF is "missed"--so a week from today at the earliest. Come on, week! Go, go, go!

I'm in the TWW. My cycle went long last time, so it's hard to know exactly where I'm at this time. AF could come anytime between Friday and next Thursday. I'll wait until next week to test if AF doesn't show up before then.

I think I'm 11 dpo today and won't test until sunday if af hasn't come by then. I had really horrible cramps on 7 and 8dpo and I read about implantation cramping, but I didn't think you could actually feel them?? Anyone have experience? I stopped temping 6 days after O so as not to drive myself crazy. Not overly optimistic.

I don't know, @Sinnet , but I had similar pinching and cramping at about the same time in my cycle this time. I keep thinking I'm about to start my period, but it'd be pretty early. So then I think I must be pregnant. Haha. It'll be one or the other, that's for sure. The waiting, the guessing...it's hard.

Don't think I'm in the TWW, as I got a peak reading on cd11 and FF has yet to give me crosshairs. I'm cd19 today (cd20 in a couple of hours.)

I'm actually really still struggling with this, but I'm trying to get over it.

@amimhoff - I used to just get bloated before my period, but when I got pregnant the first time, I felt symptoms. I didn't really the second time, but I think that was because it ended up being a chemical pregnancy. But basically, the answer is you may or may not feel symptoms. And if you do feel symptoms, you may or may not be pregnant. (Sorry that isn't more helpful!)

@Sinnet - yes, you can feel implantation cramping, but not everyone feels it. I felt it when I got pregnant, but I have also had cramping around 7-8dpo in all 5 cycles I've had since the d&e, so I don't take it as a definite sign of pregnancy.

Hi

I'm 8dpo (CD23) According to FF I should see AF on the 21st. If my cycle is the same as it was before. I probably won't test unless I'm late. We had really great timing this month (-4, -2, O, +2) so we can hope. I'm trying not to obsess and put too much into it since this is my first real cycle since my loss.

As for symptoms I don't really have any but usually my PMS symptoms don't show up for another week.

@amimhoff - I'm sorry I don't have a definitive answer for you, all I can do is tell you my experience. My PMS symptoms are bloating, sore boobs, craving sweets and irritability. When I got preg I had none of those. I didn't get sore boobs till I was 2 months in. It was strange because when we did our IUI's my sore boobs showed up really early, like CD16... Sorry I'm not very helpful.

Hi everyone!

I am either 2 or 5 DPO on CD 22. FF gave me the ol' crosshairs on CD 17, but by history my "real" temperature spike happened on CD 21, which leads me to believe that I actually O'd on CD 20. Indeed this morning, after two days of the new higher temperature, FF turned my crosshairs into a dashed line so I think one more day of elevated temps might move my suggested O day. It's a later than usual O for me, but I had a really screwy cycle last time, so I'm sort of all "anything goes" at the moment.

My family is out of town for a memorial service for my father in law this coming weekend. I'll hopefully get the correct crosshairs by tomorrow morning and then will know better when I should be testing. I don't plan to do so prior to 10 DPO.

I finally can jump back on the tww thread! I had my FET today -- 1 day 5 blast transferred. Now i wait. Although since it was a 5 day blast its a little shorter that 2 weeks

. Beta is on Sept 29.

Hi ladies! I'm new to the TWW, I think (I hope). Currently CD15, with temps mostly trending up and CM all dried up. My chart is a little ambiguous but I'm predicting ovulation was somewhere between CD11 and CD13. FF gave me cross-hairs for CD12, which would make me 3DPO. BD on -3, -2, +1, +2. Not our best timing, but meh, you do what you can. My 38th birthday is next week on 10DPO and I'm not sure yet if this will make me more or less likely to test before AF - sometimes I prefer to be blissfully ignorant to protect myself from disappointment.

My only symptom to note is some crazy-ass mid-cycle cramping yesterday and the day before. I wasn't sure of my O date so we had sex both of those days too and I was really uncomfortable. Cramping is extremely unusual for me, both mid-cycle or AF. Not sure what to make of it. Too early for implantation cramps but maybe O-related.

Pretty sure I'm out. AF seems to be making her slow but steady appearance today. Part of me still hopes I am wrong, but I think I'm just trying to postpone the sadness that comes with her arrival. Gotta make it through the work day.

Ok, guys. I posted on a different thread yesterday that all that developed yesterday was some really light spotting. Now the spotting seems to have all but stopped. Still feels like AF *might* be on her way, but my hopes are rising again that this is just weird. If it doesn't start by tomorrow, I'm gonna have to pee on a stick.

13 or 14 DPO, but damn AF just showed up, just when I was getting my hopes up. And DH's too. Blergh. Thanks for the well-wishes though. Hopefully next cycle....

A little late on this, but I forgot about the bump until I started watching a show that was all about babies! Ahhh! I'm in the tww and am not going to start temping until next cycle. I'm all messed up due to seed cycling - much more bloated than usual, breast swelling but no tenderness and cramps throughout the whole month. I think I O'd around the 7-9 (15dpo) and we BD'd every other day that whole week (OPKs don't work for me) I'm on CD 25, won't test until CD 32 (the 26th) because my cycle is usually 30-31 My body is definitely reacting to something differently, but it could just be the hormones regulating from the seed cycling. I also strangely spotted very lightly, and brown on 10 DPO - so promising, right? But no cramps and I'm just not that hopeful because I feel more like the way it's PMS from my 20's instead of having pregnancy symptoms, who knows really.

Been having a hard time because we were benched for four months and just got back into this TTC thing. I remember how hard it is.
