I've been in hospital twice for being dehydrated I can't seem to keep any food or fluids down please tell me this will pass this is my first pregnancy & I am 24. Anyone that has went through something similar please let me know
Congrats! Yes, if you can't keep anything down, call your OB/MW. I had horrible morning sickness my last pregnancy, lost 10 pounds even on Zofran. If absolutely nothing is staying down and you've already gotten IV fluids this early on, I'd ask about hyperemesis gravidarum. In the meantime, I found I was able to hold off puking for a minute or so by sniffing an alcohol prep pad or a fresh orange peel. Carry plastic bags in the car with you. Eat teeny teeny, bland foods throughout the day, and maybe even during the night. You can try taking B6 and half a Unisom tablet at night. Sip on ginger ale. Like I said, nothing relieved my morning sickness last time except for Zofran. Hugs! This isn't forever, although it feels never ending in the moment. At the end of this journey awaits a lifetime of love.
We share the same age and birth month and it's my first child as well!! Fortunately I have experience no nausea, the choice of food you intake along with fluid intake depicts your nausea behavior as well. Drink plenty of water (not too much) meditate, do something you enjoy(minus the brew and cocktails), and realx, I'm in TX and the weather here gets pretty steamy, I've caught myself a bit out of breath and dehydrated, though the white frost Powerade and Gatorade has soothed my dehydration and tummy.
Wow, that's really severe and so early! But it happens to some people. Princess Kate in the UK was hospitalized twice for morning sickness! Hang in there...
I haven't ate anything in about 5 days I've tried zofran it isn't helping it's just such an uncomfortable feeling I can't sleep I can't do anything besides feel like I'm going to be sick & actually being sick
