October IVF

Hi all! I'm new to the community and am hoping that there are some ladies that are gearing up for IVF in October. My husband and I have been TTC for 2 1/2 years. We have had 6 failed IUIs and just last week found out that our first round of IVF - a FET with a PDG-tested embryo - did not work. We are heartbroken, but are trying to stay optimistic. I'm waiting on the dreaded AF right now... but plan to try a fresh cycle next month. Just wondering if there are other ladies out there gearing up for an October IVF. I would love some cycle buddies to help keep me positive and / or sane!

    Hello, new to this. I just started IVF. Today would be day 3 and I will be on BCPs until first week in October. Very nervous. Should be mid October for retrieval. Someone to talk to would be great.

    There are a lot of us in the sept/October IVF group that will be laying over to October.

    I'm currently on my first round of IVF, after 3 failed IUIs. I am finishing up my BC on the 20th, I start the estrace pill for a few days and then begin injections on the 25th. Retrieval is estimated for oct 3rd.

    I'm very nervous too, but talking to the ladies in these groups, helps me a ton!!

    Unexplained Infertility- Postive for MTHFR Gene Mutation

    Natural cycles with 1 miscarriage
    -3 IUI's w/ Clomid= BFN 
    -IVF #1-Follistim and Menopur= BFN
    ***11 Eggs, 10 mature, 8 fertilized, transferred 1 (day 5) 2 made it to freeze
    -FET #1- Transferred 2, day 5 embryos =BFN
    -IVF #2- Follistim and Menopur = BFN
    ***11 retrieved, 8 mature, 6 fertilized, transferred 2 (day 3), 4 made it to freeze (Follistim and Menopur) = BFN
    -FET #2- Transferred 2, day 3 embryos = BFN
    **Changed doctor**
    -IUI #4- natural cycle = BFN
    -IUI #5- Follistim (5 eggs) BFP- lead to Miscarriage  :'(
    -Laproscopic Surgery for Endometriosis, Polyp removal and Cyst removal. 
    -IVF #3- Menopur, Follistim, Lupron, Ganirellex- BFP lead to Eptopic Pregnancy  :'(
    ***11 Eggs retrieved, 10 Mature, 8 fertilized, transferred 3 embryos (day 3), 0 made it to freeze
    -Lapropscopic surgery- Removal of Fallopian Tube
    -IVF #4- Estrogen Priming with Vivelle dot, Menopur, Follistim, Ganirellex- BFP  :)
    ***15 Eggs retreived, 11 mature, 11 fertilized, 2 embryos transferred (day 3), 2 made it to freeze
    Found out I was positive for MTHFR Gene Mutation during TWW of IVF #4

    Hi ladies! 

    I will be starting my first round of IVF in October. I am excited and very nervous! Being able to relate to so many of you on these boards has been very informative and comforting. At the same time sometimes I get scared to see what so many people have been through and what is in store for the upcoming month. I am so nervous that I will be heartbroken. Although I know I need to remain positive it's so hard. I wish us all the best and a bunch of BFP!

    Hi all, I am gearing up w $ for the IVF meds and hoping to start my first IVF visit 10/5....am I the only one nervous and terrified about the injections more than their actual cost! This is my first infertility treatment so I have literally been inundated with information about it...Here we go, glad you guys are with me. .. :)

    Hey All - this is my third round of IVF. I started injections two days ago. Very nervous as this is the final round of IVF that will be supported by my health insurance. It has been tough but I'm trying to stay positive and distract myself with other things.

    I will be starting my 2nd??? IVF in October. I just had my first one canceled on day 6 of stims and am heartbroken. The depression is awful. I'm usually ok during the day but Ive been crying every night before bed and every morning when I wake up. I hope this passes soon. I'm a slow responder and will be starting an aggressive protocol, micro flare lupron. I'm terrified but trying to stay positive. The support from online forums is what really helps me through all of this.
    Pmakrillos, I found myself looking forward to my injections. Just that feeling of one step closer kept me excited. They really aren't that bad. Good luck with your first ones!
