My cousin had her baby the day before me even though she was due like 2 weeks later. Yesterday, cousin posted on Facebook complaining that hers isn't sleeping good at night yet. I'm feeling a little smug about the fact that hat DS has slept from 930pm to 7am for 2 nights now B-)
I pulled out the samples of formula from my pantry today and have been looking at them every time I pass through the kitchen. Keeping up with my LO seems impossible sometimes :-S
That I passive aggressively told my husband's cousin how annoying she is but added a smiley face at the end to not look like a total bitch :-$ She just had her baby yesterday & posted today on fb how much she hates her nurse & the hospital because they won't take her baby so she didn't get any sleep last night. No sleep with a newborn?!?! Imagine that... *sarcasm* I'm probably more annoyed with her because her whole pregnancy she has complained about how she's never having kids again unless she has money to 100% get a girl (this is her 4th boy). Even when people congratulated her on her new LO she still had to bring that up for the 100th time. Like be grateful for a healthy LO. I've also seen her post multiple times the last few weeks how she wished she had her baby early & was going to drink castor oil *cringe*. I told her how that was not a good thing to do & the risks. Then she posted later how she did it anyways. I just wanna throat punch this b****.. ughhhh sorry this is more of a rant!!! ~X(
My husband bought me a BabyBrezza and I absolutely love it. MIL will shut her mouth about it being a "waste of money" when she sees how quickly it makes a bottle. No warming, measuring, or mixing seriously cuts down on the MOTN feeding cries. It was expensive but totally worth it!
Most days when DH gets home from work the house is a total mess and I justify it because I am (for real) busy all day with all 3 kids. Today the older two were at preschool (for an hour longer than usual) and LO slept the entire time. I'm officially caught up on my DVR- but if DH asks, the kids were a total handful all day
And #2 - DH and I will be doing nothing for our anniversary(tomorrow). He wants to but I'm not leaving LO, not even for dinner. The thing is, if my parents weren't on vacation and could watch the kids, I would totally do it. I just don't want to leave them with my in-laws.
I completely, utterly, and absolutely hate breastfeeding. Maybe it's because DD still hasn't quite gotten the hang of it and still latches painfully sometimes, but by the end of the day I absolutely dread feeding her. I am seriously considering giving up.
Yesterday we were leaving Target. I had just successfully transferred a sleeping DD from the carrier to her carseat without waking her up. I was about to buckle DS into his seat when he said it had to potty. I pulled his pants down and let him pee in the parking lot. Petsmart is right next door. If dog pee is okay in the parking lot then toddler pee it too. Right?!?

DD spit up her whole bottle all over myself and herself this morning, soaking us both. I passed her off to DH because I wanted to change my shirt right away :-S

I totally did this multiple times when my DS was potty training. warning tho, he quickly figured out that he liked peeing outside more than the potty and would start trying to hold it until we got outside

Same here. I mean I've been giving formula to supplement but since yesterday, I've been giving crazy amounts because she just won't get full. Hang in there and if you do, don't feel bad. You gotta do what you gotta do to feed your baby.

If I had a dollar for every time my boys peed in a parking lot or any other inappropriate place for that mater I would be a rich, rich lady
DD has on a couple of occasions been very fussy then taken a massive poop and immediately passed out. When this happens I spend the next ten minutes debating whether or not I can in good conscience put her to bed knowing she has a dirty diaper. I always end up changing her. But it's incredibly tempting!

LO does this during the day too. I usually watch for cues shes in a deeper sleep and then go change her and pat her butt after until back to sleep. This is easy lately though bc she will only nap on me and she will knock right back out laying on me!
So I had a good one earlier this week and then forgot it by today...idk why I thought I might remember half the time I dont remember what day of the week it is, sometimes even the month let alone my FFFC!
My stomach was a mess the other day and I kept having spells of diarrhea.... LO decided she was hungry at the same time my tummy said it was bathroom time. So needless to say, I nursed DD while pooping. I'm not sure whether to feel like its a supermommy moment, or an eww thats gross don't ever do that again thing!

Oh it's tempting lol!! But I always change her and then she's awake again
I'm not sure which is worse, pregnancy brain or new momma brain. Let's just say there are some days my dog gets breakfast twice and some days she doesn't get breakfast at all. No need to call PETA on me though, she always gets dinner.
My husband wanted to go on a short hike to a pretty lighthouse today. I'm tired and lazy so I told him that I can't just leave my mom with a bottle because I have supply issues and need to make sure I either feed or pump every time Declan gets hungry. It's partially true but if it was something I actually wanted to do I would have gone since we probably would have been back before his next feeding.
And I just found out that DD hates formula and will literally refuse it. Awesome.
I'm sorry. I will say it's hard on their stomachs when they go from BM to formula. There is a major difference (as far as digestion goes). Maybe it bothered her stomach? Since its the first time she's receive formula.

No experience, but you may just need to formula shop for a kind she likes. I believe @Miz_Liz had to through her samples the other night to find one LO would take. Hang in there momma, if you want to stop BF try to find a formula she likes, but it may take some work just like BF does!
I secretly love it that DD prefers me over DH. Just now she was wailing and all I had to do was hold her and talk softly in her ear. Out like a light. That would have never worked if DH had tried it. The mommy baby bond is special and I'm selfish and don't like sharing.
My DD had a pooptastrify today. Poop up the front and out the back. Instead of pulling the onsie over her face and smearing poop everywhere, I cut it off.

Not sure if you knew this, but most onesies are made so that you can pull them down to take them off. There are some YouTube videos on it. This is so helpful when there's a blowout.
DH has a sleep disorder that makes him sleep very very soundly. However, when I'm holding his squalling, kicking, shitting daughter on the other side of the bed and he's so comatose he's drooling, it's hard not to hate him with a fiery burning passion.

Yes! @hjphillips if you received samples, try another kind. DD absolutely refused the "supplementing" formula but then took the "Newborn" one by Enfamil. Sometimes they just don't like certain kinds, if I remember correct, DS was like this too with Similac, but he took Enfamil.
@HarleenQuinz I am still on the living room sofa at over a month. DD's crib is in the guest room and we still have visitors. I am so over it.

Yeah, what she said. They are designed to be able to come down, that's why the shoulders overlap the way they do. No one told me this with my first, who was the queen of blow outs. It would have made things so much easier!

I used to love the fact that my babies always preferred me. Until I had three hanging on me asking why the moon was in the sky and other random nonsense when I'm running on zero sleep, taking care of a newborn... Now I'm like "can't one of you just like your father!? I swear he's not that bad of a guy!" Lol. Enjoy it while it's sweet and peaceful
The real reason we haven't tried giving our ds a bottle yet is Bc I'm jealous! I love BF and don't want to share his feeding time with dh. But I finally sterilized the bottles today so I guess we'll try soon. There are a few evenings next month I'll have to leave him at home with dh. I might cry...
