Brown spotting and discharge at 12 weeks

in 1st Trimester
This is my second pregnancy currently 12 weeks and had my ultrasound last Friday. Dr said there was a sac of blood on my uterus but today I had a lot of brown spotting and mucousy discharge. I also have had a lot of cramping. Have already seen and heard the baby's heartbeat and everything was normal at last ultrasound. Anyone else experience this and what was the outcome?

    I would call your OB and let them know. It could just be the sac of blood, but it's best to get it checked out.

    I had pretty much the same experience, all fine and doctor said it is very common but agree with others that you should speak to your OB about it!
