I love watching my husband be a dad, and do little projects to the house. We just understand each other. All of the time we have invested into our relationship makes me really thankful for that guy. Plus, he is so handsome - hottie with the thick beard.

Good morning!

I love my husband's passion. He gets very worked up - in a happy way- discussing things he's passionate about. His blue eyes light up. Then, he gets excited and starts talking fast. Sometimes I can't hear a word he's saying he talks so fast. He's full of positivity and big ideas. I've always been a worrier and an over-thinker, but I love dreaming with him.

I love so much about my husband, but honestly, he's hysterical. He has a dry sense of humor and great timing. He's really nice so you don't expect him to "burn" you -- and when he does, it's twice as funny. I honestly cry laughing at some of the things he says. And it's nice because sometimes we have our own language with the inside jokes or memories that make us laugh. He also is very thick skinned and can totally take a joke on himself (something I'm not as great at) so I can tease him and he actually laughs and builds on the joke. Such an admirable quality to me.

I'm also a big talker, constant worrier and his ability to listen and lighten the mood with humor is a huge plus. It helps me be as close to a normal human as I'm capable of haha.

Also, he cooks. Every day. He's just great.

My husband is probably the most naturally kind and caring person I've ever met. I've met so many guys who pretend to be that way just to get you to like/sleep with them but DH is so genuine. He's hilarious and we have so much fun together, similar sense of humor is a must for me to even be attracted to a guy! He could look like a GQ model but without a sense of humor I'm just like meh...

And when you ladies talk about seeing your DH with your children, I can't even imagine!! When I see DH with a baby or kids such as my niece and nephew I just melt. He's going to be an amazingggg father!

I love it when he holds me in his arms. He's a bit taller and makes me feel safe. He's protective towards me, family and friends. He can drive me totally nuts with his pessimism and always wants to be right (he should know by now I'm always right) but there's still a little boy inside him. He always says "boys don't get older, their toys get bigger". It's definitely true in his case. He can be serious but also sees the humor in most things.

I love his sense of humor. I can be pretty moody or serious sometimes but he always knows just what to do to make me laugh, lighten up and not take things so seriously all the time. He knows me so well. I love how he grabs me randomly and starts dancing with me, even spinning me sometimes. Anywhere. The kitchen, the super market... It's so embarrassing sometimes, but I secretly love it.

I love how he looks at me, even though I don't see it all the time. But in pictures (especially our engagement and wedding photos), I see what my mom and other people see... He always looks at me with so much love and adoration. I hope that never changes.

Even just the idea of him holding our baby or just seeing him be a dad makes my chest fill with so much love I feel like it's gonna explode and I start tearing up. (Yes, I'm a huge freaking sap. LOL.) I can't even imagine how it'll feel when that really is our life. The fact that he wants kids so bad (he was the one that set our date for TTC, it'd be sooner if he could...) is so hot to me. LOL.

I just adore him. Plain and simple. He's the most amazing man and I am the luckiest.

Love my bearded babe too! Hes pretty much had one consistently since we got together at my ahem, gentle suggestion lol. My DH is so so so supportive and caring. I have anxiety issues and a bit of a temper and he is always so even keeled and tries to calm me down. Even if its just a hug i appreciate it so much. Maybe this is silly but i love how much he loves our furbaby-i know how amazing of a dad he would be. Sometimes i pic a little mini-dh walking around in baby chucks and a batman shirt to match dh and my heart just wells up so much! Gosh i do love him!

What I love about my H is how calm he is. I'm a bit high stress and we balance each other out perfectly. I just love being with him, even if we aren't doing anything at all. He's so caring and selfless.

I am so happy that I married my husband. My husband is hilarious!!! He is always cracking a joke and making people laugh around him. His timing with everything is great when he is making a joke as well. He even tired stand up comedy a couple times and he was actually pretty damn good. My husband likes to think he is all hard, but with me he is so loving and sweet. I am his number one priority and my protector. If one comes at me wrong, like the car mechanic did the other week, he was quick to come to my defense, and saved us 50% the car work being done. We do not have any kids yet but we have plenty of nieces, nephews, and cousins and he does such a great job with them. He has this on going joke that he doesn't hold babies under the age of one because they are too fragile, and yes this rule "applies" to our kids, but I know he is just joking. And just like the OP said, I love being in his arms when he hold me. We are about a foot apart from each other, I am 5'1 and he is about 6'0, so him holding me is perfect! And he is really good at comforting me whenever I start to worry about something. He is just amazing and I am so happy that he is all mine!

The Mr. has a heart of gold. I've always told him that I hope our kids get my smarts and his heart. He is literally the "shirt off your back" kind of guy and he gets that from his mother. I especially love how we are different enough to keep things balanced and interesting but alike enough that we don't disagree on much. And hugs with him are the best, I've never felt so safe.

Aw I love my husband's beard too! I met my husband in the first week of classes in college and have always felt this magnetic chemistry with him. He is a great man and I am so lucky to have him in my life. He's driven, brilliant and funny. He will drop everything for family when they're in need.

Lately he's been working a lot and out of town on business trips so I've been nagging about household chores and other responsibilities that fall on me when he's gone. He has started making sure to pull extra weight the weeks that he is home and it makes all the difference. My man emptying the dishwasher or taking the dog out at night (we live in a high-rise apartment building, taking the dog out is a process)... now that's sexy.

Thanks for posting this @hookemnelson! Reminds me that I need to tell my husband all of these things more often- life gets busy and I forget to tell him how much he means to me! Will be doing that when he gets home tonight!

MH gets stopped in bars all the time by women telling him he looks like Tom from the Blacklist. He gets a kick out of it. So this is basically him just with a little more of a beard.

I love that my husband gets me in a way no one else does. He has this amazing sense of humor and always has me laughing! We can laugh for hours at the craziest, most random things.

Personally, I love to watch him cook (he's a chef)....when he's in the middle of making something or trying out a new concept, he becomes so focused. He has a lot of drive, and I love that about him.

I think what I love most..is to watch him with kids. He's very good with them. He's also a martial arts instructor, and occasionally teaches kids. He's very kind and patient with them. I was able to watch him teach a couple of my younger cousins, and they were glued to him. It makes me so excited for us to have our own child because watching him lets me know just how amazing of a father he would be. And don't get me started on him holding babies....*sigh*...just adorable lol

I used to always hear that my husband looked like Michael Cera (circa Superbad ... my pic is actually Michael Cera and Ellen Page and in college I posted it and people thought it was really husb and I). Now I hear that he looks like Bobby Flay! I'm not sure either one really applies anymore. Maybe a mix?

I can't think of a celeb he looks like, but he is tall, lean and has really curly hair. I will absolutely lose my mind with excitement if my LOs have curly hair like him

Reading these posts made me so warm and fuzzy! Loving all the love

My husband and I started "dating" (if you can even call it that, haha!) when we were 16 and 14, respectively. My dad was our band director! And we miraculously stayed together through separate colleges and long distance! It has been so much fun growing up together. I just want to spend every second with him, I even miss him when I go to work! He's always making me laugh and loves me so much….it's awesome. Ugh I just love him!!!

I know it's not Monday anymore but I thought this is too cute to pass up on.

His goofy, nerdy, disposition. He peppers the dorky-ness into everything . He's very tech-y and very much into "geeky" things an I find it very adorable.

On a more serious note I really admire his ability to control his emotions. I am terrible at it. But he is very open and very expressive of what he feels and I actually aspire to be more like him in that sense.

I'm going back through this week's GTKYs so sorry to bump all of them! HAHA

I'm on the beard train. I love my husband's beard. He keeps it trimmed in the summer but let's it go wild in the winter and I love it! I have only seen him without a beard a few times since he got facial hair in tenth grade. Lol.

I think what makes me swoon over him the most is his compassion. He is always so loving toward sme and taking care of me. He goes to work super early in the morning and I'm still in bed. He gets up quietly, pulls the covers up, calls the dogs into the bed to cuddle with me, and goes to get ready. He always comes to kiss me before he leaves for work. He also gets me water every night before bed.
