Hi everyone! I know I don't post here a ton, but I do read a lot and offer help when I can. I am a FTM so I do not have much help to offer. But I have enjoyed reading and learning though all the posts. I have also been dealing with tons of appointments lately. We found out our baby has Tetralogy of Fallot, a two vessel Umbilical cord and will need open heart surgery shortly after being born. We have to follow up with cardiologists, deliver in a different hospital, and keep him at the hospital much longer than expected. I am just wondering if anyone has experienced this and if you have any tips for staying positive through the pregnancy and for our extended hospital stay?
Re: ToF Diagnosis
@jmclean101 - thank you so much! That is really comforting to hear. I am just worried sick over this poor baby. Doesn't seem fair that he has to go through all this! but I am happy to hear you are doing so well!! Have you had just the one correction? Or were there more surgeries needed later?
@ainverso thank you - that does sound like something I would totally be scared to do so I will make a point of doing it once he is cleared. I appreciate the kind words and advice!
