Hello to nose bleed and acid reflux land grrrrr!!! Hip pain has gotten a lot better but not sure if its because I am not commuting an hour & half to work anymore. Still have yet to feel baby move. This pregnancy is starting to get a little more comfy finally
Been up the past two nights with what I assume is allergies, and it's awful. I sneeze at work and need to blow my nose a bit, but at night and in the AM I am so stuffed and miserable. No sleep for this preggo.
Feeling alot better ! woo hoo Still tired and I tend to have cases of the " I dont wanna's!" Started to feel her move just a little! And my bump is starting to look like an actual bump and not fluff!
Good days and bad days, pretty sure it's related to how much sleep I get. If I sleep terribly, I will usually be either nauseous the next day or have a headache. If I sleep pretty well, then I obviously have more energy and no nausea/headaches.
Today is an OK day - still tired, but not much else to complain about. Still having some weird dreams lately that have been waking me up every night this week.
I was feeling pretty good once I hit the second trimester but all of a sudden this week I'm extremely exhausted again. I can barely make it through the day so that is a little frustrating. Other than that, pretty good. Heartburn is starting to appear more regularly too which is awful. I shouldn't be doing too much complaining though since others have it way worse. I don't know how you girls who are still really nauseous do it.. I'd be losing my mind.
Baby #3 due February. Dx with Spina Bifida Myelo "good things are coming down the road, just don't stop walking"
I walk past a yoga studio on my way to work every day, and on Wednesdays and Thursdays, their prenatal classes are just starting as I'm passing. I am so jealous of all the cute pregnant women who get to go to prenatal yoga instead of work (and can afford the $150 monthly membership!). It really bummed me out today, and now I'm just going to sit here at my desk sulking instead of doing work.
I'm 16 and a half weeks and I still get nauseous a few times a week and I still don't really have an appetite. I went 3 consecutive days this week returning everything that I ate... it's terrible. I can't wait to be able to have a desire to eat again and to be able to eat what I want... because vegetable soup is getting pretty old. Also... heartburn and indigestion... UGH. Not to mention I am extremely congested most of the time. The doc keeps telling me to hang tight, it's going t get better. But when?! I would love to be able to enjoy my pregnancy instead of feeling like crap and grumpy all the time.
@Tsam12 I turned 17 weeks last Sunday and my miserable sickness disappeared. Hang in there!!! It WILL happen PS- spaghettios were my saving grace for like a month. Whatever you can keep down, go for it. Your baby will get the nutrients first so don't worry about that part. As long as you're getting prenatals and staying hydrated, don't worry... the rest will come in time. I didn't have an appetite for a long time. Baby is still healthy and ticking away. Best wishes to you!!
I'm grumpy right now. Just left my MW appt and she put me on a 35lb lifting restriction because my SPD and SI joint issues. My job requires that you can lift 50lbs.. Which means they'll probably put me on light duty and I'll be stuck doing office work. I don't plan on turning the note in and will just try to limit myself and get more help with patient lifts. H is pissed at me, but I just can't do office work until February.
They also put in a referral to cardiology for a Holter monitor and an osteopath for my pelvis. I'm stubborn as heck, and haven't decided what I'll do with those referrals yet.
-Bleeding gums. Wtf? I hate that. - If I sit for more than 10 minutes, the muscle in my left butt cheek locks up. So much so that I can't walk! I have a 8 hour drive to Ohio next month, and I have no idea how to handle it! - I'm an emotional basket case. I bought a roast beef sandwich today, and they added honey mustard instead of horseradish. I took one bite and started crying, because I'm a lunatic.
@Scornelius - I've been having bleeding gums too. I spit blood every time I brush. I haven't flossed all week because my gums bleed even more when I do. I know it just comes with the territory, but I don't like it!
When I was pregnant with my son I had to get a prescribed mouthwash to help with my bleeding gums, it didn't hit me until around 34 weeks or so last time though.
So so so so sleepy all the time!!! I feel like I could sleep for days!! Also having trouble with some nasty headaches. They aren't going away and even tried migraine medication (with doctors permission) and it didn't help. Hoping they go away soon!!!
I'm with you @leximd84 i've been sooo tired the past few days it's crazy! i had my energy back for a few weeks and now i feel like i just want to sleep all the time and i'm very unmotivated.
Monday I went to the ER with upper abdominal pain, they couldn't really tell me what was wrong because they can't do a CT scan, they think I have ulcers from all the acid reflux. So on Zantac and carafate. I'm so tired of burping for no reason. I hate not eating spicy food because right now I LOVE IT! Oh well though. Next week we get to find out the babies sex and have to have a fetal heart echo. Since hubs was born with a congenital heart problem they want to make sure the baby heart is okay. Little worried but hope all is well.

It's great to hear from someone who has experienced it that it will get better. Thanks and best wishes to you as well!
Feeling a little better, but exhausted! Surprisingly, my nausea is better with this pregnancies than it has been with any of my others.
I'm a little worried about how things are going to go after the next two months, but that's two months away so I'm trying not to worry about it. Babies are moving a lot now!
I think I might be feeling movement but I'm not sure. I just wish it was more obvious! Plus if I go from sitting/laying down to standing/walking, my hips hurt like crazy and I get terrible RLP
Reflux started about a week ago (a whole month earlier than last pregnancy). So I'm already sleeping upright. Low back pain (way too much sitting at a desk and in the car commuting... I hate DC traffic). DH and DD have had nasty colds all week, so I'm just waiting for my turn at it. My favorite (and last living grandfather) passed away this past weekend. I'm sad, but not upset. He was 95, had lived a tough life including being a POW in WWII, so I am glad that he is finally at peace. However, my husband and I had decided a long time ago that if we have a boy, his middle name would be my grandfathers name. He knew this before he passed, but our a/s is tomorrow. I am sad that I cannot call to tell him if we are having a boy or a girl. And last but certainly not least, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer last month; her double mastectomy is on Friday. I have yet to cry this week, so I am just waiting for the moment that reality sets in and I loose it... My guess is that it will be at my a/s tomorrow. So, I planned a mini spa day prior to my a/s tomorrow. I need to make it a good day before all emotions: good, bad, sad, and happy hit me all at once. Sorry for the long, serious post, but I needed a venue to get it all out, and this seemed like the place for it.
@SgtLou2 damn girl, what a week. I'm so glad you are going to take a break and unwind before your scan. Hopefully seeing your little one will bring you nothing but joy and something wonderful to share with you mom. If you do have a boy, having his middle name for his grandfather is a great way to honor him and I think it's awesome he knew that before he passed. Big hugs.
@hlmdeck Thank you. And we are having a boy. My grandfathers name will continue on, and my parents were told last night that they are finally getting a grandson! Now we just need to make it through my mom's surgery today and then I can be done with this week.
Re: Wednesday symptoms and complaints
Heartburn sucks, too. I haven't had it yet (but now I probably will now that I've said that lol!) I had it with my DS and Zantac really helped.

On the bright side, baby kicks are a nearly daily occurrence now and it makes me so happy!
