Based on my period I should be 7 weeks pregnant, but I have irregular periods that usually run longer, so I figured more like 6 weeks. On the ultrasound today, he said it looked more like a 4-5 week pregnant ultrasound. He said it was a perfect circle and everything, but because it doesn't line up with my dates he's concerned it may not be viable. I don't know how it could only be 4-5 weeks if the last time we had sex was August 16th. I'm going back next week for another, and he should be able to tell me viability based on growth. He also took my blood for a progesterone check.
I really don't know how to feel right now. I want to be optimistic, but I just don't see how it's possible that it's a healthy pregnancy.
UPDATE: Just got back from our second ultrasound after waiting a long, long week. Heard a strong heart beat, and the little booger grew as it needed over the past week. I finally have a due date - May 17th! Wahoooooo! Pour the champagne! I mean...wait...the La Croix.
Re: 1st visit disappointment **UPDATE**: Patience is virtue!
