I'm supposed to be 4w4d today. I had my blood drawn yesterday and my levels were lower than I was hoping for. 129. My progesterone level was excellent. Anyone else having low #s?
*I'm probably stressing more than I should be, but we've been TTC FOR 16 months and already suffered 1 loss...so yes...I'm stressing til I can see a little baby heartbeat
Re: Hcg levels anyone?
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they're having me come back in for another blood test to ensure they doubled
So I still won't be seen until the 25th. Ughhhh this waiting game is so the worst.

At 4 weeks my Beta was 105 and at 4 weeks 3 days it was 335.

I would say, if you don't feel comfortable with your OB (i.e. feeling like they would be annoyed with you if you call with concerns or want to get checked out further), then you might want to try a different office? Later on in your pregnancy, you need to be comfortable with contacting your doctor any time you sense something is wrong. I've heard many heartbreaking stories of women who stayed home because they didn't want to bother the doctor or annoy the ER nurses or look like silly panicky FTMs, only to find out too late that something really was wrong. You need to have confidence that they will take your concerns seriously, no matter how small, and that starts now. Your doctor just waving his hand and basically saying "meh, if you're still preggo on the 25th, I'll concern myself with you then" is unacceptable, especially when you have legitimate reason to be worried.
Just my feeling on that issue!
Thanks everyone for the thoughts!! I called my OB and she put the orders in for me
. The math I used said I needed to be right around 1000 to be on track. I got my results back way early this morning and they were over 2800!!! More than doubling!!

Thank the Lord!! I'm feeling much better
My OB is great, she just didn't seem overly concerned with my numbers to begin with. She's truly amazing, allowed me to have the perfect labor and delivery and I do love her, but sometimes I think she's just a little lax. No worries, I'm super happy with these results and now can actually wait til the 25th for my first appointment

They did some blood work, and scheduled me for more work tomorrow (two days later). They said they wanted to make sure my hcg levels are progressing normally. Based on this thread, it seems like standard practice to do recurring blood work early on and not something they just do if something may be wrong?
