Doctors orders :-/ (tmi possibly)

I am 24 weeks pregnant, also suffering/ have been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome- I haven't had any issues with my ibs my whole pregnancy thus far and been getting more confident with eating out and not getting sick.
Until last night.
My boyfriend brought food home from work and I ate it to my content- one hour ish later.... I was in pain, it dawned on me, it's my ibs. I got up in need for the bathroom and found I couldn't stand up straight I figured it was because of my ibs cramp but by the time I reached and sat on the toilet it hurt even more.
I finished doing what I had to do and got up only the cramp was still there. ( the cramp is below my stomach and above my vagina)
I called my mom to see what it could be and My mom decided that I had to to the emergency room- I told her there was no need id just call someone and if they said go to the ER then id go.
-lots of phone calls later- I got ahold of my doctor and explained the situation.
Diagnosis? Pulled muscle- in my uterus ( so it sounds ) which apprently can be serious.
I'm on rest duty- no work.
I have an appointment with her at 12:15 today to get examined further.
I hope everything is ok. And this cramp will go away eventually.
There has been no bleeding and baby boy finally was kicking about last night ( I had not felt him all day yesterday ) - so I'm pretty sure he's fine.
Cramps just bother me.
Thoughts and prayers about 12:15 would be appreciated .

All is well no preterm labor signs for me. Everything looks nicely and heartbeat is strong.
Guess it's a pulled muscle somewhere and it's not as serious as we thought.
