I'm having a boy and a girl, they will be named after my husband's parents as per Greek tradition, Kyriakos and Theodosia aka Jack and Sula. Must haves so far include an electric breast pump and 2 electric swings/rockers.
I am having 2 girls. Jacalyn Dana (after hubby) and Madalyn Rose as I think it is beautiful. We could not think or decide on any other names. I'm honestly not even sure what to buy. My shower is October 22nd so I'm hoping my piddly registry works lol cause I'm a FTM and honestly I'm CLUELESS....
I'm having a boy and a girl and we have our daughters name picked out but still deciding on our son. We will not be announcing names until I give birth. We have only purchased clothes so far and I don't plan on having a baby shower. I have a registry, just so I can keep track of the things we need, and I will slowly begin making purchases. I really want to get a great stroller with great car seats and always looking for thoughts and opinions from others on this. My parents are buying the cribs and we only plan to buy one swing or whatever those bouncer/small versions of swings are called. See, I am so out of the loop on baby things lol. My son is 13 so it's been a really long time since I've done this. Cloth diapers are also on my list. I will be home with them so I'll have the time. Yes, to the electric breast pump.
Uh names are alluding me right now, I like unique names so its hard, my must haves are electric breast pump, my cloth diaper service, my "want" however is a night time nanny, I like my sleep at night
@keshakdavis Im buying my cribs from wayfair.com I'm getting two for less than 300.00 the Da Vinci Mini rocker cribs I also shop at Sam's and Costco for baby supplies.
I got my cribs from ikea, very solid construction and very inexpensive. As for bassinet/pack n play, watch out for the weight limit as most bassinets have a 15lb limit which can be reached quickly with twins! The Arm's Reach Ideal Co Sleeper has a 30lb bassinet and 50 lb pack and play limit and it can serve as both. As for must haves....I have no clue! Registering was so intimidating and exhausting! I was lucky to have a friend that helped me with things I would really need vs things I can live without.
@bonnieuelk thanks for sharing. I registered for two of the The Arm's Reach Ideal Co Sleeper for as you said it has a 30lb bassinet and 50 lb pack and play limit and it can serve as both.
After 5 months or once they have outgrown the co sleeper bassinet I will transfer them to their individual convertible cribs. I don't believe that they should share a crib.
