Middle Name Struggles

This might be against the rules, if it is just let me know and I will delete the post. Basically we are struggling to find the perfect middle name for our son, so I thought I'd take it you helpful and often decisive ladies! We've settled on Hudson for the first name and our last name is Horn. Any ideas? All suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

Not a specific suggestion for you but check out nameberry.com! They have some great lists including what middle names go well with what first names. Good luck

If we have a boy, his middle name will be Alan which is my SO's middle name and his father's first name. If it's a girl, she will have two middle names, Elizabeth Marie. Elizabeth is my SO's mother's middle name and Marie is one of my middle names as well as my mother's middle name.

Having said that, would your husband's first or middle name work? What about parents?

Not against the rules. You can't delete posts, plus it's worse to delete it.

Question: try typing the first name and last into name genie and it will give you random middle names. I really like that it filters and you can just keep clicking for more.

Some common options lee, Michael, James, john, Riley, Sean, Robert.

You could always go without a middle name. I know several people who don't have one- it's not uncommon or weird.

Are there any family names you'd like to incorporate into your son's name? I really like the name Hudson BTW.

I can't think of a middle name that wouldn't work with that combination. I'm not crazy about all the alliteration, but even Hudson Henry Horn works. Good luck!

Eta - I like the name Hudson too, but I already used it on an animal.

We're doing Steven As our little boys middle name. It's my DH middle name and his fathers name. We picked the middle name before the first name!
