Pregnancy-friendly drinks?

im trying to cut out caffine all together and obviously no alcohol. I would like to stick to drinks without added sugar, etc. What are your go-to drinks during pregnancy? I'm sick of ordering water! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated (first time preggers :x )

Re: Pregnancy-friendly drinks?

  • Unfortunately when dining out, the only thing other than water and tea seems to be sugary drinks and mocktails. :( I splurge on a ginger beer in a copper mug when I'm out with a group to make them think I'm having one, but I limit myself to one since it's just sugar. If I can't get my calories from wine and liquor, I don't want to waste them on mocktails. Where's the benefit in that?! The only other option is sparkling water or club soda with lime. Still water, but with more pizzazz.

  • I add essential oils to my water. Or drink diet coke. But that one doesn't help you :p

  • I've been switching up my plain water with flavored sparking water and also fruit infused water.

  • Fruit infused water like cucumber water. I do a lot of lemon water, also to quench this pregnancy thirst I drink coconut water (lots of electrolytes), it comes in flavors or you can mix it with a little bit of juice. There are pregnancy teas out there, I got at whole foods during my last pregnancy.
  • La Croix (sparkling water and they have a ton of different flavors), green tea (usually sweetened with honey but don't drink too much bc it has some caffeine in it), 100% juice...
