Evening feeds...

Does anyone feel empty by the time the last feed of the day comes around? I thought all the cluster feeding evenings were supposed to build my supply but LO is super fussy and still "hungry" it seems like. But I swear when I put her on the boob not much is coming out. I don't hear her swallowing/drinking... :-S

    Last night I was totally empty. LO was wailing and pulling because nothing would come out. He's been having a major increase in appetite this week (growth spurt) and my supply has to catch up. I ended up giving him some frozen milk from my freezer stash just to help him go to sleep.

    I have had to give formula (don't have a stash yet) and then pump to trick my body into thinking its a feed and try to increase supply. Always happens around 7pm and little man gets so mad pulling and screaming because he has drained me.

    Omg this totally happens to me tonight! DS is usually full off of one breast. Tonight he took both and started kicking, waving, pulling at my nipple and getting pissed off! I just kept switching back and forth until he finally got full! Now he's been asleep for over 3 hours. Wish I would have know he was going to sleep this long, I would have went to sleep too!

    I've noticed this the last few days. So I started to make sure to drown myself in water in the afternoon along with having a lactation cookie. Supply seemed adequate for the first time this evening. She even took an after dinner nap instead of just constantly wanting to feed. Hopefully it keeps up.

    Exactly this, did the same thing tonight.
