I totally forgot to ask my dr if it is ok to use temporarily. I have a wedding next weekend and I would just feel better with a little color. Did anyone else's dr say it's ok?
It's fine. But if you want to be extra cautious I would stay away from the aerosol sprays and use a lotion. But rub it in extra well or you'll get streaky!!! I mystic spray tan all the time. As long as you're not inhaling the solution it's a great way to get some color safely! (I used to work for a tanning salon.)
I asked my OB and she said it's ok ( referring to the moisturizers that gradually tan), she just said to be sure to do it in a well ventilated area. Not sure about the foams, sprays or instant tan stuff
I love spray tans but after reading this article I decided to skip them till after pregnancy: https://www.allure.com/beauty-trends/blogs/daily-beauty-reporter/2013/03/sunless-spray-tanning-pregnant-safety.html All sunless tanners have DHA in them and basically there are no studies that exist testing that on a baby. We know that things we put on our skin are absorbed into the body, so I figured I might as well hold off. That said, I'm pretty sure once in a while wouldn't be a huge deal.
