For the past few hours I just feel like I am getting my period. I guess this is normal but figured it was a great excuse to give FR more of my well earned money. After I take these two I am done and will not question it anymore.

I've been doing a Wondfo a day....no judgement here. Sometimes mid-day just so I can see if I can turn any test. I also took one with me to the lab so I could test the urine I was going to give them for proof of pregnancy, and just put in a sandwich baggie till the 5 minutes was up. It was super dark, so I knew there'd be no surprises with the doc. If it puts your mind at ease, and you can afford it....pee on all the sticks!

I feel like this every other day, plus all the AF-style cramps. I haven't bought any new tests, but I had a big box of Wondfos that expire(d) this month so I might have been peeing on more sticks than what would be 'reasonable', since I already tested positive on a digital and am currently a full 30DPO. :P

Just be aware that after 6 weeks or so the test line can go suddenly lighter then previous. It's called the hook effect. It can and will freak you out!!

I thought I would do this to make sure the appt. is necessary, but then again, I haven't had my period, so if that is still true the morning of my appointment, then even if the stick is negative I would still need to meet with the doctor.

I sadly did the same thing this morning before my first appointment this afternoon. Just wanted to make sure the other 15-20 tests I took weren't giving me false positives making me look like an idiot at the doctor's. 8-}

I have peed on some sticks too since I got my BFP. They are all still positive of course but I felt like I needed a little reassurance since I don't have too many symptoms. Also, my appointment isn't until October 2nd and I hate waiting so long without a little confirmation in between. I realize I may be slightly crazy.

No judgement here, but I will say that yesterday I got my faintest positive yet (6weeks) and FREAKED OUT. Turns out once your HCG reaches a certain point, it can overwhelm the test. Something called the variant hook effect. After trying again with diluted urnine, I got my nice dark positive again. I think it may be time for me to step away!

I know, sadly, a baby could be lost early, but isn't there signs that's happened, i.e. blood?

@dicegrl84 I was being silly and making fun of how neurotic I am when I said "false positives" in my post. Of course I don't think I got 15 false positives. I think for me I was testing a lot at first because I had few symptoms, and it just didn't feel real. I quit taking them last week, but I had one more left and used it this morning. I have my first appointment today, so I'll get the piece of mind finally and say goodbye to my sticks.

Is your blood test today? Let me know how that appt goes; I go on Monday. I don't have any symptoms either, but my always reliable (until now) period is still a no-show and I got 3 positive tests on Sunday. I didn't believe the 2 at home tests, so I made my fiancée who is a Dcotor take me to a med express (I know they use basically the same urine test) but I just wanted another Doctor to read the results and confirm it haha I've been on the pill for 10 years religiously so I couldnt believe it at all!

Im constantly getting period type pain and cramping so im doing the same. To be honest this thread made me laugh..ive gone through so many pee sticks haha even digital ones for extra confirmation!.

Yes and no. Sometimes you can have what is called a missed miscarriage in which there are no signs other than when you go to the doctor for an ultrasound thinking you are going to see your baby and hear a heartbeat and the baby ends up not having a heartbeat, but is still floating around in your uterus even though it may have passed away weeks prior. . There are several ladies on these boards that have had that happen. So yes it is possible. I'm not trying to scare you. Just providing information.

I peed on everything I had in the house this past week. 5 wondfos and a digital that I saved for last. I caught a faint line at 9dpo before a dentist appointment, so of course I had to keep peeing each morning to make sure it got darker!
