Recently Miscarried - First period

On July 22, 2015 my husband and I found out we were expecting our first child! It only took us a month and a half to conceive after stopping birth control so we assumed everything would be smooth sailing. On August 9th, I miscarried at 7 weeks gestation. I did so naturally, it was heartbreaking. My husband and I started trying to conceive for the second time right away but AF came 3 days ago. My husband is deploying in a few weeks so this is our last chance to conceive before he leaves. Since we conceived so quickly after stopping BC would it help our chances of conceiving again after a miscarriage? All the prayers and support will be greatly appreciated!

  • A healthy couple has a 20% chance each month. I would def temp and use opk's to know for sure that you ovulated. Sorry for your loss... My first pregnancy we conceived the first cycle(mc) this time it was the 4th cycle(mc)

  • I have no advice but just wanted to say we are in the same situation. We had an early natural miscarriage at 5 weeks in July. We got pregnant again right away and it ended in a ruptured ectopic at 7 weeks. My husband is deploying next month so we are waiting to hear if we can try again this month before he goes.
  • @janmama14 I wish you guys the best of luck as well. It's stressful having a time crunch! Baby dust
  • I am very sorry for your loss. I also miscarried with D&C 3 weeks ago ( 9 weeks). We started to ttc as soon as the bleeding stopped, even if the doc sayed to wait atleast first AF. I am hoping for a BFP too. My suggestion in to BD every orther day from cd 7 for 2 or 3 weeks, you will definately nail the O.

    Wish you the best.

  • I'm sorry for your loss!! Thoughts and prayers!!

    Best of luck!
