Ohhhhh I'm not that brave yet! Only 3 weeks pp so I'm giving it some more time to hopefully look less like a murder scene before I try to use a mirror...

I have looked. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Looking back to "normal" as well. But when does the line on your stomach fade? From pregnancy? Mine is still somewhat dark.

I had a c-section and I still don't want to look down there. It took me a few weeks just to look at my c-section scar

I did to shave about 2 weeks PP (really couldn't take it anymore, I had already been uncomfortable and trying to find time but went into labor). Honestly did not look as bad as I expected. Now, at 6 weeks, I am sure I am completely healed but have not looked.

I was in agony when I got home from the hospital and I looked. Looked about how I was expecting. I don't feel the need to check on it now.

I am 5 weeks 2 days pp and I have looked a lot after I take a shower. At first it was really scary looking down there but now I'm getting back to normal. I also couldn't stand it anymore and shaved down there about a week ago but I was afraid to get anywhere near the perineum area.

candicejeff2013 My linea nigra took about 6 months to go away with DD1... I'm just hoping this one is gone by summer, not that I'm going to want my tummy seen anyway with my now seemingly permanent umbilical hernia :P

So in my hospital you deliver in the room you stay in. So right after I delivered I looked up noticed the TV is hung right where I can directly see my crotch. I was bleeding everywhere and it was a murder scene and I was seeing it from 8 feet away. Then I kept glancing as I was getting stitches. I don't think I'll be looking again.

I did about 5 days pp. Other than a purple bruise and a line down my perineum (from the episiotomy) it looked normal.

I looked 2 weeks after and the force of me trying to get a good view caused some blood or fluid to come out... so I had my pants back on and the mirror put away 5 seconds later lol. I'm 3 weeks PP and I think it's all healed

I looked. Soooooo many stitches!! I'm 3 weeks PP and haven't looked since then and the stitches have started falling out.. scared to see how it healed I think.

DH described to me what it looked like while they were stitching me back together, that alone is enough of a "look"! I don't plan on looking for a looong time.
