Injured cervix after D&C?

I felt like my body was healing well after my D&C. I got my period, and the lines on my home pregnancy tests have been getting lighter and lighter. The bleeding from my period stopped last weekend. After having sex this weekend, I noticed some very light spotting (bright red). It really only comes out when I go to the bathroom. I am concerned that I might have injured my cervix during sex, or it might just be irregularities in my cycle. I'm planning to give my doctor a call if it continues, but just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced something similar.

    You had a period but still showing positive on a hpt? How long since you miscarried?

    It has been 6 weeks since my D&C. The OBGYN said that is common for there to be a positive pregnancy test during the first period. It is probably negative by now, I haven't taken one in about a week. The line was VERY faint the last time I took one.
