Is 112 bpm low for 6 weeks?

I had my first ultrasound yesterday. The baby's heart rate was 112 bpm. I was expecting it to be around 120 bpm. Is 112 low or is it normal?

I think it's great! I thought I read 100-120 somewhere. Was the tech concerned?

That does seem low, I thought it was supposed to be about double mommy's heartbeat. But if the tech wasn't concerned, your OB/MW isn't concerned, I'd just try to put it out of your mind for now.

Mine was 105bpm at 6weeks. My OB said it's fine!

My little one's is 111. Doctor is doing a repeat ultrasound in two weeks just to make sure everything's ok, because she said it's on the low side. She said it's actually pretty common early on and not to worry. (Ha! Sure. Not worried at all.....)

Same here! I measured at 6 weeks today and had a heart rate of 114. Tech wasn't concerned, but did say they like to see it over 120 so I just get to go back next week for another ultrasound. I know they would've been honest if it was highly concerning, but she said not to worry at all and that I at least just get another ultrasound out of it

I think it's normal to be that low at 6 weeks. It's just started beating and I think it can take a couple days to start beating faster

No the tech made no mention of whether it was where it was supposed to be or not. She just told me that it was 112.. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I don't remember my first two ever being that low

Ours was 100 at 6 weeks and they said that's normal. She said it needs to be above 90.

The heart rate is low when it first starts beating and speeds up. Since you are only 6 weeks, it likely just started beating.
At 7 weeks my LO's HR was 40 beats faster than it was at 6 weeks.
