I've had symptoms that could easily be pms, but I'm now three almost four days late and am having cd that looks like egg whites and is stretchy. The pregnancy tests I've been taking each morning say negative. How late were you before you got a BFP?
Three days before my expected period, I was getting faint lines on an HCG test. Then I got my BFP (digital) on the day I was suppose to start my cycle.
(Me) 30 & (DH) 32 {Together 11 years - Married 04.17.15}
My BFP was 4 days before my missed period. Actually I got a really faint line a couple days before that but I thought I was seeing things. If you're pregnant it would show up on a test.
I didn't know you could be positive so early as all of you! I always waited till I missed my period at least bc I didn't want a false negative and those things are expensive!
I got mine 4 days before my missed period. I feel like if you were really three to four days late, you'd get a BFP. As PPs have said, you likely just ovulated later than you think.
I got a super faint positive 5 days before my missed period. Then slightly darker the following 2 days. I finally took a digital on the day of my missed period just to confirm (and because I already had the test...might as well pee on it amiright?)
I just got off the pill the month prior so my cycle isn't totally known, and wasn't charting so I can't be completely sure. But based on a standard 28 day cycle I got my bfp two days after my period was due. Faint, but it was there.
Thanks everyone. I'm not sure if I'm more confused or discouraged now, but I appreciate everyone's advice. I guess I will continue with the waiting game.
Ditto what everyone else said. If you really are that late you would be getting a + test by now. I would think you are about to ovulate with the CM you are describing.
To answer your question, I got a + 4 days before my period was due.
@lest12 yes I have been tracking my periods, ovulation, as well as mood/symptoms I have been having for the last five months. This is the first time I've been late.
Not to mention, I got a negative test on Saturday, and went out for drinks, thinking that I wasn't pregnant. After a glass and a half of wine I was sloshed which is not normal
I got a very faint positive at 9dpo, clear positive on 10dpo (using OSOM tests). I will note that I did not get any increase or change in cf during the luteal phase of either of my bfps. The only time that ever happens for me is around ovulation. Is it possible you didn't actually ovulate before, and your body is now trying again? You may want to consider trying some opks just to make sure. I think it's also faintly possible that you implanted later than normal, which would mean your hcg might not have risen enough to detect yet. Good luck!
2 negatives 10 and 7 days before I expected my period, 1 positive 4 days before I expected my period. I'm tempted to take like 15 more tests to confirm the positive
I had EWCM for 11 days, my actual ovulation was a day after the last day of EWCM, as shown by my temps. Normally, I ovulate on day 14, this cycle was day 22. It was just a random, weird cycle. Maybe that's what's going on.

Egg white cervical mucus happens at your most fertile times. That's when you ovulate, generally speaking. However, unless you are temping it's impossible to know for sure when you ovulated. You can have LH surge, ewcm, etc but still ovulate later in your cycle. Temping is the only way. Since you have gotten negative tests it means you are not pregnant at the time, but it sounds like your body is trying to ovulate now. (Though yes, sounds like your ovulation is later than usual this time for whatever reason.) Oh and also, be careful about asking if you're pregnant, even in a roundabout way because it's not allowed here.

I highly recommend reading the TTGP guide on that board. Temping could help you avoid this confusion in the future. Sounds like you're ovulating later than normal.

I hate to say it, but if you're continually getting negatives you're not pregnant.
