Recs for an RE in SouthEastern WI?

My previous RE moved. I've met Dr. Hayes but my experience with her was limited to one ultrasound.  Has anyone had experience with her or the other West Allis dr.?

Anyone have recs for any other RE's in the southeastern WI, Milwaukee area? Has anyone gone to Gurnee?

Thanks!

  • I see Dr. Davis throught Froedtert Reproductive Medicine Center, and I really like him. He practices with two other MDs (Dr. Strawn and Dr. Schoyer) who are both good as well. I got my BFP on my first FET after my fresh cycle failed.
    IVF #1 September 2014 - Transferred one 5-day blast : BFN
FET #1 October 2014 - Transferred two 5-day blasts: BFP!!

I also saw Dr Davis, Schoyer, and Strawn at Froedtert  (the Rep Medicine center is in Menomonee Falls). Dr. Davis did my lap surgery (extensive endometriosis) and I saw all 3 drs over the course of my IVFs. I belong to an infertility support group, and I know lots of them have seen Dr Hayes and Dr Shanti, and lots more go to Gurnee to see Dr Sherbahn. In my opinion sometimes it's just about the odds, I know the dr and lab does make a difference but for me it just took a few tries to get the right embryo. Good luck to you!

9/2013: Pelvic Laproscopic Surgery, stage IV endometriosis, 1 ovary removed, both tubes blocked beyond repair
    10/2013: IVF #1: chemical pregnancy
    12/2013: FET #1: BFN
5/2013: FET #2: BFP! Due February 6, 2015 with our baby girl!
  • Sadly, Dr. Davis is leaving Froedtert. Drs. Strawn and Schoyer were great. We did a couple rounds of meds, surgery, etc. 1 miscarriage and then we chose not to pursue IVF. Then got a BFP after completely giving up and looking into adoption.
  • I saw Dr. Hayes and Dr. Shanti and was successful after one round of TI with Femara.

I liked Dr. Hayes, and the nurses at their office a lot. I didn't dislike Dr. Shanti, but I thought she was a little rough the couple of times she did my transvaginal ultrasounds. That might have just been me being a wimp though.
