Everything went well and he is resting somewhat comfortably.

Thank you for the update. I was tearing up reading that, no parent should have to go through all of this. I thought our journey was tough but man oh man. You guys are wonderful parents.

I'm sorry but I have to agree with the ENT doc about how cute Max is. Your liver regenerates new tissue perhaps you could donate some of your liver for #2 if needed

I hope Max, you, and Tim get a relaxing nice sleep and nothing but smooth sailing from here on out.

I guess I did forget that he did get admitted for observation. It should only be for a couple of days. Urology said maybe discharged tomorrow, but Tim and I are not pushing for anything. When we feel comfortable with the new tube we will take him home. Three days is going to feel like nothing compared to the 6 months he spent here. By the end of the weekend for sure though )
