Cleaning Pack And Play

I have a pack and play from my first (he just turned 8) and we plan on using it until we purchase a crib around March. We moved into the house were in in March and didn't know that things in the basement here get moldy. So instead of the good wipe down cleaning I was planning I have to do a deep holy mother of cleanings to this pack and play (hopefully to save it since the mold on it wasn't bad if it doesn't we'll be purchasing a new one).

I found this way to clean it on Pinterest and wondered if anyone has tried it before. You take a capful of laundry detergent, a splash of vinegar, and a quarter cup of baking soda mix it all together in water as hot as possible and soak the pad and frame in the water for 30 minutes. Flip it and soak for another 30. Rinse and air dry.

I'm hoping it works. If it doesn't any suggestions on what else I could do?

Pulled it out and rinsed it. It's in the sun drying but it looks awesome already!

I did that soak and it worked great! I was nervous about putting the pad in there because I read somewhere that some pads have cardboard in them so they shouldn't be soaked? Did yours turn out okay?

If it was just dusty/dirty, I think this would be okay. But you said it's moldy? Then I'd say No, it needs to be thrown away and replaced.
