  I wouldn't until like the week before, just send a reminder if they haven't RSVPed and tell them you're trying to get a head count.

  You're cousin could make a mass post that they'd all see. Like "hey just need a final head count for the baby shower. RSVP if you haven't already."

  In addition to this, if the RSVP date passes and people have not yet responded, the host should be reaching out to confirm attendence.

  Some people do not look at Facebook events as there is so much garbage. So sending another note probably wouldn't help anyway to people who have not responded. It is also a month and a half away. I would recommend your cousin at least send an EVITE or make a phone call or something if she is unable to mail a paper invitation, especially to older people. Not your job or place.
