Sunshine!

I am always cooped up in this house with LO! Hubby's gone several hours during the week due to classes and we currently have just one car. It's been so nice out lately (hello 70's!) that I'd like to take DD out walking around our driveway or our road some (which is gravel so I can't use the stroller, I was gonna keep her in a carrier), but I'm not sure how to protect her eyes from the sun. She's still in newborn sizes, and I'm not sure if I could find a hat that small.

What have you ladies done to keep the sun away from your LOs?

Re: Sunshine!

  • I use a lightweight swaddle and shield her eyes that way. Enjoy the beautiful weather!

  • I use a light blanket when I wait for neices bus in the afternoon. We did also find some infant sunglasses at BRU but it's been rainy since and haven't gotten to use them. Tried finding sun hat but as we are in MA, stores are transitioning to winter gear.
  • I use an umbrella but it's still bright. Most of the time carrying puts her to sleep so not need for sunglasses.

Our stroller and car seat system have canopys. I just pop them up when the sun is in his eyes.
Edit: sorry, misread the original post. Obviously this doesn't help you lol.
