  My EBF LO recently went from 3+ poops a day to 1 every other. It surprised me at first but things are obviously changing in his gut and I take it as a sign that his digestive tract is maturing. The consistency has changed a bit. Much stickier.

  I feel like my LO has also reduced his pooping. He used to poop after every feed, but now it's probably every second feed. Still many times a day though!

  Some EBF babies only poop once a week & this is normal. We went through the same thing with our LO. She only poops every few days, sometimes up to 4 days before a poop. As long as she's not fussy we just let her go when she's ready to go.

  Sounds like my LO. He used to poop once/day, and now it's every 4-5 days. I knew that happened with some EBF babies, but when he just did it every day I didn't think he'd change. He's 19 weeks now and started changing the routine at about 3 1/2 months. It's kind of nice.
  
  I should also add that he was grouchy at first, but got over that. Hope your LO will be the same.

  My ped said their digestive system is more efficient now, so some days their little bodies just soak it all in with no waste. I noticed his diapers are much fuller now - once every 2 days - and his gas smells awful! Lol.
