Trouble TTC

Ttc 9 months after bc

Hi there, I'm new to this site and I was just wondering if i could get some insight on the situation I'm dealing with. I have been married for 2 years now and we have just started ttc, I went off bc pills in December and have been off them for 9 months, we were using the pull out method for those nine months and because nothing happened then I'm wondering if I could be infertile, my cycles have been irregular the past few months and I feel like it's going to be very hard to get pregnant. Has anyone else gotten pregnant using the pullout method, or with irregular cycles?

I don't believe this is the right forum for you. You have been actively seeking to avoid pregnancy with the pull out method. The women here have being actively trying for a long time, doing everything they can to get pregnant, and some, if not most, have received an official infertile diagnosis. No one here can tell you if your attempts to avoid pregnancy would have been successful. Frankly, it's a bit offensive to ask this on this forum when we have literally been doing everything possible to get pregnant.

  • I completely agree with @riveridgional on this one. You are definitely on the wrong forum. I got of BCP in December of 2013 and didn't have a period until March of 2015, and even then it wasn't normal. I don't ovulate on my own and can't get pregnant without medical assistance.. that is something you would post on TTTC about, not avoiding pregnancy.

  • @SH777 The pull out method is a form of bc and as such is not intended to help you ttc. You are not having trouble ttc because you are actively avoiding it. If your goal is to get pregnant you are going to need to leave it in (or as my dh would say stick it in and wiggle it).
