Another vote for Theodore (that was near the top of our boy list, but we're having a girl so can't use it.) I also like Elliott, Ash, Oliver and Jonah.
Do you have a particular style in mind, name wise?
We are having a boy and it was an easy decision (as we didn't use it last time with our daughter). He will be Oscar so I love that name - also like Theo, Finn, Barnaby, Monty etc etc. Good luck xxx
We had a very easy time picking because there was only one name we both really liked. Some of the names we talked about were: Oliver James Jace Kai Jensen Colton
Jensen was my favorite besides the name we picked but hubby is more old school. It really depends on your style. There are websites that take names that you like and suggest other ones like it. I think one is called nymbler but not entirely sure.
There's also a Baby Name board if you leave the January 16 board and go back to main menu. The ladies there are helpful (and brutally honest) and there are lots of threads to lurk with ideas. Just give them some example of names you like and they will give more suggestions.
What kind of names do you like? Prehaps you could look at the girl names you like and see if there is something similar about them, all Latin or Celtic, all traditional etc. Also do you want the babies first name to "go" with the last name? I am irish, DH is and has a very italian last name so irish names look kind of silly with it, in my opinion.

I agree with this. We have a very Scottish last name so we will be going with a Scottish (or at least British/Anglican) first name to 'match'. I think a name has to flow well when said all together.

Everyone I'm sorry for barley replying. I don't get notifications and I'm not sure how to check. I had to search for my post. I love the name Milo. I think it's so cute but everyone I know says it sounds like a dog name.
We're planning on going with Beau first name we both agreed on was Simon, then hubby changed his mind and said Carson then changed his mind again and now we're at Beau.
We are going with a Hawaiian Irish combination (DH is Hawaiian) and we were fighting about the girls name. Discovered we were having a boy and all of sudden we agreed!! Our little guy's name is Kekoa Declan.
We chose Joel for our little dude ;-)!! We didn't want anything in the British top 100, or anything modern. We are not religious, but loved the name. We've had really positive responses too it as well ;-) xxxxxx
My husband is Polish so we are going with traditional polish names that have English translations, we also like to go with older names that aren't generally used as much anymore, so we are naming or boy Franciszek, which inEnglish is Frank but we also considered Eugene, or Thomas.
Go to nameberry and make an account. I loved that web site, that's where I found my little guys name. You can make his and her favorite listed and it has a name hunter that uses the names you've like to come up with more like it. It also has articles like cute 80's boy names, hipster baby names, best G baby names. Stuff like that, then it always has an updated top 1000 names. Go check it out
My hubby and I could have sworn we were having a girl, but turns out we are expecting a little boy! We are going with the name Declan Paul Xaver and William were also front runners!
My son's name is Tyler Joseph- Tyler is his dad's middle name, Joseph is my grandpa. This little boy will be named Henry Lawrence. Henry we just decided we loved and Lawrence is DH's grandpa. Our back ups were Eli and James. There are a lot of names I like but not many I can really imagine myself actually calling my child. That's my test- imagining myself calling a baby that, a toddler that, an older child that, maybe playing sports someone saying hey so and so pass the ball, as well as if it sounds respectable for an adult. Not many pass that test for me.
