How did your appointment go?
It was actually kinda boring. Since I was only 5w5d they wouldn't do an US so they just confirmed pregnancy and gave me prenatal samples.

Did you doctor address any concerns or questions you had?
Since this is my second time around I really didn't have too many questions yet.

When's your next appointment?
My next appointment should be exciting though because we will have our first US and I'll be 8 weeks 4d by then so we will actually get to see something.

I have to go back for an ultrasound Wednesday - we were too early to see the HB last week. I'm so anxious!

Haven't had an appt but went to get blood taken Friday for them to check my hormones and try to estimate a DD since I didn't have a LMP. Waiting on pins and needles for them to call me with results, and hoping the numbers look good and that they'll have me in for my first appt in the next 2 weeks!

Had my first appointment Saturday morning, and my due date is officially set for May 1st, got to see the baby and the little tiny heart beating at 130 bpm

Doctor answered all of my questions, it was a great appointment!

Next appointment is mid to late October. So excited to see my baby again!

I go back on Thursday for my weekly u/s going to an RE...last week we saw a gest sac and a yolk sac measuring 5w4d with a tentative due date of May 6th, he said next week we should see a flicker. I am exhausted beyond words so hopefully that is a good sign. I am so anxious for Thursday and I have to go by myself...Lord give me strength...I will be 6w5d so we def should see hb and he will give me a for sure due date.

Went and saw my gp today. She did a blood test. Not much else was necessary.
She did give me the name of a radiologist who'll do my sonar some time this week. So looking forward to that

On Thursday I had my first ultrasound from my RE. We saw the sac and yolk and it was measuring right on point at 5 and half weeks. I got back this Friday to hopefully hear the heart beat.

My first OB appointment was scheduled for next week but they want to see me on Thursday because I fainted this weekend. I appreciate their caution but now I'm a little nervous!.Thursday can't come fast enough!!

I had my first ultrasound last week and we saw the flicker of the heartbeat - pretty soon we'll have to start and ultrasound thread!!

Appointment went great! Everything's perfect! Measured at 7 weeks 4 days. Next appointment is October 5. Was a little nerve wracking because they didn't see anything in the sac with the abdominal u/s. Then she did the transvag ultrasound and I saw the little flicker of the heartbeat right away! 134 bpm, which she said was totally normal.

Hi everyone!

How did your appointment go? I only had a phone "appointment" with the nurse. It was fine. She went over diet, supplements, appointment scheduling for the future, how/when to get ahold of them if I had concerns, etc.

Did you doctor address any concerns or questions you had? Yes. I mostly wanted to get the OK to keep taking Tums for heartburn and make sure it was ok to get the flu shot.

When's your next appointment? I found out that I get to go in for a dating ultrasound in 2 weeks! Yay!

The nurse called me yesterday to say my HcG number was 399. That definitely isn't consistent with what I thought my EDD would be (around May 6th). I know you can't give too much into one HcG reading but it's driving me crazy. Waiting for them to call me back with the doctors recommendation on what to do next (another blood draw, when to schedule first appt, etc). This anticipation is killing me!!

I'm going in to have an ultrasound in 2 hrs after having some spotting over the weekend. It happened with DS and everything was fine, but I'm still feeling so nervous!
@finnybooboo I hope you get your recommendation soon and a good result!

My first doctor appt is October 6th. But seeing all these ultrasounds makes me super excited! I can't wait!

Finally got in touch with them again today. The nurse was about to say I wouldn't be in for an appt for another 6 weeks, which is insane when I don't think there is any way I'm less then 5 weeks. I finally got the doctor to call me and he said to make an appointment in 2 weeks and I'll have an ultrasound and pregnancy confirmation appt. WOO HOO!! It makes me feel a little better and he didn't think there was a need for me to have additional blood work, though it would have made me feel 10000x's better if I could actually see my #'s going up as they should. Still a ball of nerves, but just need to get through the next 2 weeks. Oct 1 is the appt date!

Had my tour/orientation today at my birthing center. It was absolutely amazing. I went ahead and set up my first appointment for 10/20. Kinda late but they do all of their first appointments any time between 8 and 12 weeks. I'm right in between there so I don't feel too bad. Just so antsy waiting.

I had my first appointment today. My estimated due date based on my last period had me due May 6th, however the doctor said based on the measurements of my baby, I'm only 5 weeks, 5 days and my new due date is May 12th.

I had blood drawn, a Pap smear and an ultrasound. How beautiful and amazing it was to see that tiny little speck

The doctor was wonderful and so sweet! I have my next appointment mid October. Happy & healthy pregnancy to all of you beautiful mamas :-*

My ultrasound went wonderfully : ) DH and I got to see the baby and yolk sac along with the baby's heartbeat. They confirmed that I'm 6 weeks too. I'm feeling relieved. I hope everyone gets good news at their appointments!

I'm scheduled fory first appointment in 3 weeks from today. I never had hcg and didn't have an ultrasound until 20.6 weeks with my last pregnancy so I'm pretty excited to see this time! If there's two I'd rather have a little more notice than last time!

Just had my appointment today!

How did your appointment go? It went well. I like the Doctor (I'm new to the area so this is a new Doc for me). It was too early to see the heartbeat but they saw the sac and yolk sac and that my uterus was measuring about 6weeks 1 day. He wants to see me again in 2 weeks for another ultrasound and see the heartbeat.

Did you doctor address any concerns or questions you had? No real concerns for me. He gave me an RX for morning sickness, in case it gets worse (it was so bad with my first I lost 10lbs my first tri). And wrote an RX for prenatals since my insurance will cover 100%!

*the ultrasound tech did ask if I had been taking fertility meds which TOTALLY freaked me and my husband out about twins. Twins would be a huge blessing but OH WOW. Thankfully...she only saw one sac, so I think we're OK.

When's your next appointment? September 30th for another ultrasound - YAY!

Well I have no idea when my first appointment will be now....It was originally on the 30th (around 10 weeks), but we are moving to another state before then, and will have to change insurance around due to the move (still the same company but a different region). So I can't schedule anything at all till after we arrive in Texas. To top all that off, I'm going to have to go to a Primary Care Doc first, get a referral, and then make my appt with an OB/GYN. I have a feeling I will be in my second trimester before I even get to see a doctor

So bummed. I was able to get my initial bloodwork done today, but they don't do blood hcgs so I have no reassurances coming any time soon (ultrasounds, or doubling of numbers) to ease my mind.

My first official appt is the 10/7 and that is just to talk to the nurse, pee in a cup, get blood drawn, and get a packet of papers. U/S appt is on the 22nd of Oct.
Tomorrow and Friday I am having blood drawn to make sure hcg is where it is supposed to be.
