I have been lurking and posting on and off for a while, I started on the 1st/2nd trimester boards and I think everyone here is so much more lovely and helpful even to the slightly silly questions!
Anyway, the real reason for this post is I have a little story to share!
On Thursday I had my 20 weeks scan, after finding out baby was healthy we asked about sex and it's a little girl! So excited to start decorating and shopping now :x
When my partner, Ben and I got home I went upstairs and I was putting some clothes away and getting changed when our dogs came running upstairs. One had his collar on and I was confused as they only tend to wear them when we go for a walk. The other came up and I noticed he also had something around his neck but it wasn't his collar. I had a closer look and it was a ring bearers cushion.
I looked at the collar of the other one and there was a little wooden bone on it with the words 'Will you marry me?' on it.
I literally just stood there in shock and Ben came around the bedroom door with a box containing the most beautiful ring and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes!
It was the most amazing day and definitely won't be one I forget!
