Seasonal allergies

I have really bad seasonal allergies. Has anyone talked to their doc about what is safe to take in the first trimester?

    I get allergy shot, and need to take an antihistamine before they inject me. I have been reading that Claritin and Benadryl is ok to take when PG.

    My allergies are in full swing today... Of course I have nothing in the house I can actually take. When DH goes out later guess he'll be getting me some Benadryl.

    Benadryl.  Just be forewarned it can make you catch some zzzzzzzzzzzzz

    This is one of my big questions for my first doctors appointment. I have a mold allergy that gets rough in the fall. I'm trying to use essential oils and my netty pot for sinus allergies but I don't have a plan for the hives I know will be coming.

    My OB said that some nasal sprays (I can't remember which) could also be safely used.  I read somewhere a while ago that it's not safe to use a neti pot with tap water so hopefully you're boiling it, using distilled water or using saline...just for what it's worth.
