Zero energy :(

I'm 37 weeks today and out of all the muscle pains, contractions, break outs and symptoms. I think the worst for me is the lack of energy.
I have so many things I still need to do before baby comes, and I never want to get out of bed. People tell me to enjoy it, but I cannot enjoy it when I know i havent packed my hospital bag or put the car seat in the car, or out up his bassinet. I know I'll actually regret not doing all those things ahead of time once he comes home.

Any mommies have any suggestions to deal with the fatigue? Cause I need to get on it for these next 3 weeks.

Re: Zero energy :(

  • I've hit a fatigue wall as well which is driving me a little crazy with three other kids to care for. I'm going to try breaking my work up into intervals, work for 10-15 minutes, then sit (and read books or do other ready activities with the kids) the rest of the hour. I don't know if that would work in your situation or not. Hope you get a burst of energy soon!

  • I have no suggestions but can sympathize for sure. Just over 37 weeks here and I feel like as soon as I wake up and eat breakfast I lay down and sleep again. Between the pelvic bone pain and contractions, I'm ready to not be pregnant and to hold our baby outside of my body lol. I have tried a heating pad on my pelvic area and it does help A LITTLE. But it definitely doesn't take away all the pain. Feel better!!!
  • I'm 37 weeks also and I feel the same. I've found keeping to a routine can be very helpful. If you always plan on doing dishes after breakfast, for example, you'll always have a time set aside for dishes. Then maybe use that as a segue to the next task.
