Beach bound

We left this morning for the beach with our 2 month old. Without stopping, it's a 10-11 trip by car. The last few years we have driven 3/4 Friday, stayed over and drove the rest Saturday so that's what we did this year too. Anyway, we are less than an hour away from our stopping point tonight and while we stopped a lot more than we would have pre baby, we've made it with no meltdowns (by baby, mommy, or daddy lol) lo was such a trooper

she must like to travel like her mommy

Anyway just wanted to share..I feel like it's a major accomplishment lol

@ecloho we are driving from central pa (near penn state) to myrtle beach, sc. Long trip but awesome beach if you ever get a chance to go! (Or maybe you've already been there lol)

i traveled to my sisters last weekend. its a 3 hr drive. i worked it where LO slept on the way there and way back. worked out great!

That's awesome! It's currently 3:30 am here and I'm just nursing LO. We have plans to leave after his next feeding (5:30-6) for our first trip home to our hometown for our extended families to meet our sweet boy. It's a six hour drive without a little one and I'm a bit anxious about the trip. Plus DH isn't exactly the most patient driver lol. Planning to stop every two hours unless LO decides otherwise. Your story gives me hope for a successful trip lol!!!
